DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, Digital Transmission System, 15ms Low Latency, 15km Max Range, 4K/120fps Video Recording, 1080p/100fps Live View, 155° FOV, 1/1.3-inch CMOS Sensor

Upgrading from Caddx Vista and DJI 03 air units. The 04 is a great step up from the 03 when flying in sunrise or sunset lighting. The 03 sucks in anything other than great light - the Caddx Vista is good with a Nebula Pro camera, or a Polar Starlight camera in near pitch black lighting but the 04 is better overall across the lighting range. Been flying quads for 13 years or so, from Analogue through to 04. I might just buy another one to pop in another frame.

The image quality is just amazing, compared to other HD FPV systems, I also find the range to be much better compared to some of the other systems, this is my first time using the DJI FPV system and I definitely don't regret the change so far, at least for my style of flying, these are great. The downside is when you get a signal loss, its very disconcerting when the image goes static, other systems which break up the image you can still roughly see where you are. This has to be the worst part of the system but the penetration is so good that the image break up is much rarer. If you are after a high quality image in both the goggles and the DVR which is very close to an action cam without the additional weight then this is the system for you. I know the race mode is supposed to bring down the latency but it also brings down the image quality so I’ve not used/required this mode yet.

the goat in FPV transitions systems. I've knocked a star off for the camera size as it doesn't fit into a lot of older frames, but for what you are getting it is worth the pain, nothing else compares to the quality

Compre esta versión después de comprar la versión estándar (04 lite) creyendo que iba ser lo mismo al respecto de calidad de imagen pero no fue así. En fin me compre esta versión que tiene una calidad de imagen que flipas. Lo recomiendo.

Fonctionne super bien avec mon drone de 2,5 pouces. Transmission vidéo stable et image superbe!

I still love analog on most of my quads, but when you want image quality then you can’t beat the 04.

Installed the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro in my FlyFish Volador 3.5 (you'll see the pics). Fit was clean, no mounting headaches, powered up and bound without issues. They finally gave us both 20x20 and 25.5x25.5 mount options, which is nice because it actually works in these smaller builds without having to get creative. Video quality is honestly next level. The bigger sensor shows, the picture is sharp, dynamic range is way better, and low-light performance is noticeably improved compared to previous digital systems. Live feed in the goggles is super smooth at 1080p, and the 4K 120fps onboard recording looks really good for something built into the system. No weird compression blocks or stutters, it just looks clean. Latency feels tight, link is strong, dual antennas help keep signal solid even flying around trees and buildings. Cooling seems improved too, no random overheating or thermal throttling so far. Yes, the price isn't low, but you're paying for legit performance. If you're coming from older DJI digital or even analog, the jump in image quality and clarity is huge. I'm really glad I bought it, and for once I didn’t have to wait weeks like with AliExpress, showed up next day and I had it flying same day. If you want the best HD FPV image right now, this is it. No regrets.
