Silent Pro Enso 1225 mm (48 inch) ActivBLDC Remote-controlled Ceiling Fan (All White)

I purchased this fan around 2 years ago, expecting reliable performance from a reputed brand like Crompton. Initially, it worked fine, but over time, it developed serious issues that have now become recurring. Issues faced: One fan turns off and on by itself, even when the wall switch is turned off — a safety concern. Another fan refuses to start and only makes a dinging sound. These problems began appearing within a relatively short time and are now persisting despite a previous service visit. Considering the price point and brand reputation, I expected better durability and quality. Needing repairs (or replacement) this soon is disappointing, especially during peak summer when reliability matters most. Customer service did respond to my earlier complaint, which I appreciate, but the same issue reappearing has made the experience frustrating. 31 Mar 2026: 3rd fan is also gone. Would I recommend it? Not based on my experience. The product doesn’t seem to hold up well in the long term.

Update as on 28th March: The fan is again making noise. It's better to avoid this product. PREVIOUS UPDATE : After the servicing, the fan is once again functioning like before. Full marks to the Crompton management who promptly reached out to my complaint. Besides this one problem which is now fixed, the fan is a great product! Do read the 'Pros & Cons' of the fan below. I am again giving the product 5 stars! SERVICE WAS NEEDED ON 10th SEP 2020 : The fan is making noises since the past 2 weeks. I contacted the service centre; got a call from the service department that a repair person will come and fix it. But now, the person is unreachable. This is unacceptable when you pay a premium. I'll change my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. INITIAL REVIEW : I researched all other "silent" ceiling fans like Orient Aeroquiet & Havells Stealth. Both have some or the other shortcomings like lack of adequate airflow, no remote control and no BLDC technology. I ordered this fan during the Prime Day Sale for Rs 4800 and at this price point, it's the best in class. Before I list out the additional Pros, Crompton's Silent Pro Enso definitely the DELIVERS SILENT PERFORMANCE as claimed. And while the word "silence" is relative, but the reduction in the decibel levels is clearly audible (pun intended). Following are some of the Pros & cons I noticed : Pros: Silent performance Very good airflow Remote control Power efficient BLDC technology Sleek & modern design Cons: The remote control comes with the sleep timer of 1hr, 2hr, 3hr and 4hr. It should come up the sleep timer of 6hr.

It's really worth it. Absolutely silent. Very nice design too. The air circulation is felt much more with this fan as compared to the old one I have replaced. Finally nice to see design development in ceiling fans. Crompton installation also was very prompt 👌

I purchased this fan with 5 years' guarantee, it has gone out of order two times, first time the company took 15 days to replace PCB, now I registered the complaint on 8th June 2026, but I am still awaiting the replacement of PCB, Centralized number of Crompton gives no satisfactory reply that my fan will be set right, there is no system of responsibility, if it would have happened once then I would have assumed that it may be temporary deficiency of service, but second time too it have been 11 days and no action from Crompton Greaves.

I purchased two silent pro fans and one fan is not working currently. The fan is under warranty and will expire by next 3 weeks. Crompton technician is saying the fan is not under warranty and trying to charge for the PCB Rs. 1,500/- I purchased this on May 10th 2021 and five years warranty means it should valid till 10th May 2026. He is saying First year warranty is 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 its completed. My question is If the fan has 1 year warranty and purchased on Dec 31st. Is the next day the warranty expired?
