Kyocera Ceramic Scissors, Overall length 7.2" with 2.7" Long Blades, Black Handle With White Blades

I own a smaller version of these scissors and bought this pair for my daughter for Christmas. They really are the best scissors, versatile, can be used in the kitchen and for household use.

July 2022 - second pair still fine - just don't drop them - The ceramic blades are great - but the handles broke off one side. No response from seller - i tried to contact them for warranty - Buyers BEWARE!!! JUNE 2020 update - Amazon sent me a replacement - Great that Amazon stepped up and sent me a replacement - but bad that the seller ignores customers!

Love Japanese product. Kyocera knife is not so much because it’s too sharp.

These are great kitchen scissors. Great for herbs, pasta, ginger and anything you’d use scissors for food for. Fits great in my block.

They’re a good size, sturdy and cut well

Very sharp, no metallic taint.

Good at first but 4 months later they are dull and loose so the tips don't come together. No luck finding a sharpener for ceramic blades.

I had a major sewing project for a vintage trailer that my husband and I are refurbishing and I was on a mad dash to get 7 curtains made over a weekend with upholstery outdoor type material. It was pretty much the weight of sunbrella material and I was very impressed at how easy these scissors glided through all my cuts of the fabric. I have had issues over the years with name brand metal blade scissors either rusting from kitchen use, or dulling because the blade edge rolls so easily. It has been frustrating how many scissors I've accumulated because they don't last and it costs at $10 to get them sharpened every time. I am looking forward to using them across all my home improvement and garden projects!

I had never bought ceramic scissors before and I find these superb. Of course, you have to be careful how you use them to not put too much force on them or twist excessively while cutting.

Ich habe nach einer Kräuterschere gesucht. Ursprünglich mit mehreren Scherenblättern. Irgendwie bin ich auf diese Schere gestoßen. Der Preis hat mich zunächst abgeschreckt, aber die vielen positiven Rezensionen, haben mich dann doch überzeugt. Und was soll ich sagen, bisher hält die Schere, was sie verspricht. Ich schneide damit schnell mal Salat und Kräuter. Sie ist sehr leichtgängig und Rost durch Pflanzensäfte ist nicht zu erwarten.
