THIS STUFF SAVED MY LIFE!!!!
let me go ahead and tell you the story, but you might want to grab a drink and a bag of popcorn because we’re going for another long ride. So when I originally bought this 12-pack of Monster Energy Killer Brew Mean Bean, I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into. I figured, “Hey, coffee-flavored energy drink. How dangerous could it be?” Famous last words. The first can was consumed on a completely normal morning. I cracked it open, took one sip, and immediately realized something important: this wasn’t a beverage. This was a legally questionable source of propulsion. Within minutes, I could hear colors. My vision became sharper. My footsteps became more purposeful. I looked at the clock and somehow understood the concept of time itself. Somewhere in the distance, a squirrel sneezed, and I instinctively knew its entire family history. Now, as you all know, I’ve been living in the mountains with my floppy silicone Excalibur, a tent, and a raccoon that has apparently claimed squatter’s rights to my campsite. After the bear incident, I thought I had reached the absolute peak of mountain survival. I was wrong. Mean Bean changed everything. The next morning, I woke up at sunrise, cracked another one, and immediately started reorganizing my entire campsite. I moved logs. I stacked firewood. I cleaned the tent. I sharpened absolutely nothing because apparently my sword is still made of silicone, but that didn’t stop me from standing on a ridge and practicing battle poses at approximately 700 miles per hour. The raccoon watched me from the bushes. He knew. He had seen men before. He had never seen THIS man. By can number three, I had decided I was going to become the greatest survivalist the Smoky Mountains had ever witnessed. I began walking through the woods with the confidence of a man who had consumed enough caffeine to challenge a thunderstorm to single combat. I saw a squirrel. The squirrel saw me. Neither of us blinked. Eventually, the squirrel left. Victory. I continued deeper into the mountains, Monster in hand and my floppy Excalibur strapped to my side. I was unstoppable. I could feel the ancient spirits of every mountain man who had ever lived looking down upon me. They were probably disappointed. But they were also impressed. Then came the moment that changed everything. I heard a noise behind me. I slowly turned around. Nothing. Another noise. Leaves rustling. Branches moving. My heart began pounding. I reached for my sword. The forest went silent. I raised my Monster like a warrior raising a sacred chalice. And then—a raccoon walked out of the bushes. My old nemesis. The same raccoon that had been stealing my chips. He looked at me. I looked at him. He looked at the can in my hand. I looked at the chips he had stolen. There was no need for words. This was personal. I took one final sip of Mean Bean. The raccoon dropped the chips. He slowly backed away. Then he ran. I stood there victorious, holding my Monster like the Holy Grail and my floppy sword like Excalibur’s extremely unfortunate cousin. That was the moment I realized the truth. The bear didn’t run because of the sword. The Black Knight didn’t retreat because of the sword. The raccoon didn’t flee because of the sword. It was the Mean Bean. The sword was merely ceremonial. The caffeine was the weapon. I now keep a 12-pack of these next to my tent at all times. One for breakfast, one for emergencies, one for fighting wildlife, one for fighting imaginary knights, and the remaining eight for when I inevitably forget that the first three were already consumed. So if you’re looking for an energy drink that tastes like coffee, hits like a freight train, and makes you believe you could personally defend an entire mountain range with a floppy silicone sword, look no further. Mean Bean isn’t just an energy drink. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a philosophy. It’s a declaration to the wilderness that you have absolutely no intention of slowing down. The raccoon knows. The squirrels know. The mountains know. And now you know. Viva La Mountains!!!

Even Gen X Approves!
Mean Beans are freaking GOOD! Great flavor, great energy, and no weird aftertaste. I’d give these 100 stars if I could! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars simply does not cover it. Now excuse me while I go order more. 😂

Great morning energy drink, taste great and really gets you moving!
A buy this product all the time. It's awesome. I drink a can every morning to get the caffeine flowing through my veins for that morning boost. It's also helped my morning headaches which I constantly wake up with. Price is pretty fair at about $2.75 a can. Compare that to $5 Red Bulls. I don't have any jitteriness with the product which isn't always the case with a lot of the energy drinks I've tried. Sometimes I even drink two back to back if I really wanna get boosted. I have a bit of a high caffeine tolerance so I wouldn't recommend starting with more than one.

They really taste good
I thoroughly enjoy these coffees. I'm not even a big coffee drinker, but drinking. One of these. It makes me enjoy coffee more. I was drinking the regular mean beans and then I tried the triple shot ones, and I even enjoyed those more because they're a little bit stronger, but not too strong. They don't make me jittery, but then again, I don't drink twenty of them a day. I drank one in the morning once in a while. I might drink one in the late afternoon. They taste really good. Give them a try. You may like them.

Excellent New Flavors
This review is for both flavors of the new Killer Brew line. These 2 new flavors of the Killer Brew line (Loca Moca and Mean Bean) are the best tasting releases since the sadly discontinued Swiss Chocolate (which IMO was the BEST flavor ever released). I've been a fan of the original Loca Moca and Mean Bean flavors ever since they hit the market, but I have to say the Killer brew versions taste better than their respective originals. Normally I would have like to have seen more variety of flavors with these, but in this case the taste is actually distinct enough that I think Monster balanced it perfectly. So while Killer Brew are great additions to the line up, they couldn't replace their original flavors which remain incredibly good in their own way. Now compared to the 300 line, the Killer brew flavors are very distinct and complementary. There is no equivalent to the French Vanilla flavor, and Mocha 300 already tastes quite a bit different than either the original Loca Mocha as well as the Killer Brew Loca Mocha. So again we have great additions but nothing that could replace the 300 line. While I've heard rumors myself that these are intended to replace the 300 line, it's still just speculation. For anyone tempted to give these a negative review to try to save the 300 line, please reconsider for 2 reasons: humans tend to dismiss that type of commentary and AI Sentiment Analysis tends to ignore/misunderstand/mangle it. You'll have better luck by just going over to those product pages and giving them the excellent ratings they deserve. You can also point out in reviews of this product that you enjoy these new flavors along with your other favorite flavors of mocha 300, french vanilla 300, original Loca Mocha, and original Mean Bean and that a new flavor couldn't justify a discontinuation of an old one. In the end Monster is going to make the decisions it's going to make - but I for one am going to encourage them to continue to add and not subtract because variety is their best product. So great releases Monster! Add a Swiss Chocolate flavor and then you'll really knock it out of the park!

This Ain’t Your Regular Monster - It’s My Morning Rocket Fuel in a Can
I’d consider myself a bit of a Monster connoisseur. The regular ones just don’t hit like they used to — the buzz isn’t there. But this Killer Brew? I’m full steam ahead on the train now. 300mg of caffeine, hits hard, tastes great, and actually gives me the kind of boost I used to chase with a Starbucks triple shot… and for the price of three of those, you could grab a whole case of these. So far I’ve only tried the Mean Bean flavor, but I really like the taste! It's smooth, not overly sweet, and no weird aftertaste. I’ll definitely be grabbing the other flavor on my next order. Yeah, it’s a little pricey, but compared to grabbing one at the corner store, it’s actually a solid deal. Only downside is it’s a bit high in sugar and fat, but let’s be honest, it’s still probably cleaner than whatever’s in that $9 Starbucks drink with whipped cream and syrup. Give it a try - I doubt you’ll regret it.
