There are not many 50-foot printer cables on the market because there is a tendency for the signal to lose strength over that distance. This one does not have that problem. I am grateful that it is available and was sold by Amazon.

I'm using this cable to control an electronic device that has the USB-B plug (like a printer). Since self-powered devices (like printers) do not need the 5 vdc 500 ma power this cable works great. Do NOT use long USB cables to power small external hard disks because they do require 5 v 500 ma to work. The DATA lines in the USB cable work great even at long distances (like 30 or 50 feet).This is a very nice cable, shielded, and it works pefectly for my application (IC-7300 radio).

Both end points were solidly constructed and flexible. Cable was sufficiently sturdy to handle movement and protection for the internal wire. Good product for the price point.

I don’t know or understand what others are complaining about. I am using this cable for my printer which is across the room. It is working flawlessly for my application. I would recommend this cable to anyone that needs to hookup a printer or scanner.ThanksKB

This printer cable is exceptional

I needed an extra long cord to connect my printer to my CPU after I couldn't get the WIFI connection to work when I moved. This cable is exactly what I needed and even a little extra length. Works perfectly!
