They're bright at highest setting, they charge quick and work all night and for the price there's nothing like it on the market!!!! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

Excellent. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Works just as it should. The light output is nice once triggered. The auto sense works very well. Light stays on for just a bit then goes out…maybe a minute or two. I would order again when these run their course

These solar security lights are incredibly bright and effective. Once installed, they provided strong illumination exactly where needed, making outdoor areas feel much safer and more visible at night. The solar charging works well, and the lights turn on reliably after dark. The motion sensor is responsive and activates quickly when movement is detected. Installation was easy, and the adjustable panels make it simple to position the lights for optimal coverage. They feel durable and weather-resistant, holding up well outdoors. These are a great option if you want strong security lighting without wiring or ongoing electricity costs.

So far so good. I've owned these for about 4 months and so far they've worked out pretty good. While I do find the motion detection to be not as far as it claims, the light itself is pretty bright and it works as it should. I'm glad I got two in case one decides to quit working but for my first solar light purchase, this one is not too shabby.

Very easy to install and work great! I've had these for over a year now and still going strong! Love how you can mount them anywhere (make sure they can get sunlight) and they just work. Perfect for those who are not very handy with running electric lines. This is SO much better

We've got a skunk problem. Those critters have been destroying my lawn and my last-ditch effort is to utilize lighting to try to scare them away before my yard turns into the dust bowl. I researched several brands of both battery and solar powered options and decided on the Philips solar outdoor lights due its supposed combination of brightness, solar sensitivity, water resistant body, range, ease of installation and value. Out of the box, the two lights appeared well made, were well packaged and included all the mounting hardware needed. Being a major company was a bonus for piece of mind and an included manual that made sense. I mounted the 2 lights around 30' apart on our shed's siding using a siding mounting plate purchased from HD. One problem I had were the included screws were too short to go through the plate, siding and catch the wood sheathing so another trip to HD solved the problem by getting longer #6 screws. The lights easily attach via a mounting plate and the light body just clips right into place. This is perfect because the lights can be easily removed if needed and it makes mounting easier. The lights are easily adjusted to increase or decrease the range of view and the solar panel and sensor both have a vertical adjustment although less than the lights. That may be one thing I would have liked to see is a bit more adjustability with the direction of the solar panel. There are three modes with one being on low power, one on motion sensor only and one on a combination. I opted for the motion sensor which stays on for 20 seconds. I do wish that could be adjusted a bit too but not a dealbreaker. So far the lights work great, they have been catching animals at night with a good sensor range and are very bright. I can't attest to the durability yet but I'm glad it is a major brand that can be contacted if something goes wrong. Positives + Good value with two units for a good price + A major brand with a real support mechanism + The three lights with adjustability are very flexible and lets you increase or decrease the range + The sensor seems to have a decently wide field of view and has some adjustability up and down + Build quality seems good (can't attest to waterproof yet) + Detaches from bracket to make installation easy + Very bright as a motion sensor at full power Negatives - Could perhaps use a bit more adjustability with the solar panel. Its angle of adjustment is limited by the light body itself. - Not really a negative but it would be great to have some ability to adjust the time of the sensor - Included screws were a bit short for siding. I think a longer screw would be beneficial considering this is outdoor and could be mounted on siding.

Like the title says, the lights are a solid 5 stars. This is my second set though the first set had a different sensor but they worked great (and the screws were fine as well). The second set should have taken me 10 minutes to install but due to the cheap, soft screws it turned into at least 4 times that amount. Do not even attempt to use the screws included with the lights. They are Philips head screws, that is not the issue. I used 2 different sized Philips bits, I thought maybe ruining the screw head on the first screw was my fault so I used a different size Philips bit, nope that head was trashed in seconds. So now I had to get both of those screws out without destroying the plastic mounting bracket. I ended up drilling the heads of the screws off, removing the bracket (which though damaged was still usable) hammering what remained of the screws over and repositioning the bracket. BTW I had even drilled pilot holes for the stock screws, they are that cheap and soft they could not thread into the pilot holes without destroying the screw heads. I feel a little bad giving these 3 stars but someone with less experience and tools would find the lights basically useless if they were not able to properly mount them. Philips get some proper screws for these lights, what are you saving 1/2 cent per light supplying garbage grade screws…you really screwed up, pun intended!

The three heads make it easy to “paint” light across the driveway and gate without glare. For security walk‑ups and packages, it’s plenty bright. Motion detection (medium): Detects people and cars reliably when mounted 7–9 ft high and aimed slightly downward. Angle matters—too high or off to the side and you’ll miss some motion, too low and you’ll catch pets or swaying branches. Battery/charging (low to medium): This is the swing factor. Charge time is longer than I’d like, and if the panel doesn’t get strong, direct sun for several hours, the lights fade early or switch off before dawn—especially in the always‑on dim modes. On motion‑only mode, they last much better, but several overcast days in a row still shorten runtime. Modes (medium): Motion‑only is the most battery‑friendly and what I settled on. The 10% dusk‑to‑dawn looks nice at first, but it eats into the battery unless you have excellent sun exposure. Build/weather (high): Housings feel solid, seals look good, and they’ve shrugged off heat and rain so far. The heads hold position once set. Who it’s for: Spots with reliable, direct sun (ideally 6–8 hours) where you want wide, bright motion lighting without wiring Users who will run motion‑only most nights for better battery life Who should skip: Shady locations or areas with frequent cloudy stretches Anyone expecting all‑night dim glow and full‑power boosts regardless of weather Tips to get the best results: Mount where the panel gets midday sun; avoid shadows from eaves and trees Start with motion‑only mode to gauge your sun/battery balance Aim the center head on the target area and the side heads to fill dark corners Wipe dust off the panel monthly; it noticeably hurts charging if you don’t Pros: Wide, adjustable coverage with clean, cool‑white light Responsive motion when properly aimed Simple, tool‑light installation; no wiring Weather resistance has been solid so far Cons: Battery life drops fast on dim‑glow modes or after cloudy days Takes time to fully charge; placement is critical Not ideal if you require guaranteed all‑night illumination Bottom line: A capable, flexible solar security light when it gets strong sun—bright enough and easy to aim. If the panel isn’t perfectly placed or the weather’s gloomy, battery life suffers, so plan on motion‑only mode and careful placement to get consistent results.
