Wife and I are both very happy with the look, feel & size of this set. The bowls don’t stack up perfectly but close enough and not really a deal breaker. They seem good quality. Haven’t chipped or scratched any of them yet but we’ve only had them for about 8 days.

I almost gave these one star. I specifically waited to give a review to see what some regular use would like. EIGHT months in, I noticed what looked like scratch marks from using a steak knife periodically and I was genuinely upset. I bought these specifically because I am part of a non-toxic living group and wanted lead-free, cadmium-free dishware. The thought of a scratched surface potentially leaching anything into my food was a dealbreaker. Before I wrote a negative review I did some research and learned that what I was seeing was not scratches at all - it was metal deposits left behind from the knife blade. I made a small paste of Bar Keepers Friend and water, rubbed it gently with my finger, and it wiped clean instantly. The surface was completely intact. That experience actually gave me more confidence in these dishes than I had before. Here is what eight months of real use looks like: eight dinner plates, eight salad plates, and eight rimmed bowls through regular family meals, and grandchildren visiting. I don’t use a microwave, so I reheat food the old-fashioned way… stovetop warming from the refrigerator (yes I heat the dishes slow and low) and multiple oven uses. They still look beautiful. I have had guests compliment them at the table. For the price I was not expecting much. I was wrong. The Tara White line looks elegant, performs like much more expensive dishware, and has held up to everything my household throws at them. My only complaint is that MALACASA does not offer more stoneware options. I am already looking at their bakeware… That says everything.

We love these! They’re a very subtle blush color. We love the brown bottoms. They’re good quality - my only complaint is the bowls don’t stack very easily. We have 8, so ideally I’d like to do two stacks of 4, but they topple over very easily. I wish they would’ve been designed to create a more sturdy stack of bowls. But otherwise we really love this set!!!

I love these set of plates. I’ve had them for about 8 months now. They have all survived dish stacking and pile overload, without a scratch or dent in them. Love the color way, something about the brown bottom almost clay like texture of the dish, caught my attention most. And the fact that they’re very durable is amazing, I get functionality with aesthetics. The only reason I take away one star is, after I bought this set. I looked around at a lot of similar sets, with a lot of reviews. And looking at descriptions, materials were the exact same. The price jump is quite a bit. As a single, student that bought this set for my first apartment, I could’ve gotten the same thing for less money. And in this economy every last dollar counts. Overall a great set of just the perfect thickness with some weight but not too much weight. The plates do well through the dishwasher, handwashing, and through the microwave. I know this plate set is a great one because it’s the only one I bought and don’t feel the need for other plates/sizes etc.

I’ve had this set for a few months now and the finish still looks brand. These hold up to everyday use really well and are worth the purchase. Seller even reached out after the set was delivered to verify all the plates and bowls were in good condition which definitely wasn’t normal when buying from Amazon but made the experience a lot better knowing the seller cares about customer satisfaction.

I’m really happy with the MALACASA 12-Piece Modern Stoneware Dinnerware Set — it’s become my go-to set for daily meals and casual dinner guests. What I love: The minimalist design looks great on my table and matches a lot of kitchen colors and decor. Solid, quality feel, these plates and bowls are thicker and sturdier than I expected for the price. They don’t feel flimsy at all. The dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls are all the right size for everyday use. The stoneware is durable, but like any ceramic set it can chip if bumped hard, just handle gently when stacking. Great dinnerware set for daily meals, family dinners, and guests. Looks nicer than its price tag and feels like it will last. Dishwasher safe, Microwave safe too.Definitely recommend!

Love this set of dishes. Sides are rolled up to keep food from going over sides. Not fancy however would work well for a dinner party. Price is exceptional

Very, very good quality. They have a bit of weight to them and feel super sturdy. Absolutely gorgeous and I get compliments on them all the time.
