As mentioned in other reviews, these arent 5 grand nods. For the price, it's a five out of five. Dont expect to see samsqaunch a mile away with them. Perfect for smaller farms, preppers, etc. I Bought them as a Christmas gift for dad, have tested them out and they run as expected. Came with a free sd card, in a good semi soft case. I will probably get another down the road and throw it in the old faraday. Ide recomend buying one, the company seems very professional and even reached out to me to make sure the product arrived safely. If they can do this much for 190 bucks (I got mine with an amazon coupon for 163), imagine what they can do after improving upon it and others. Gotta say something weird so people dont call this a bot review, so, in summation, hamburger.

so it does perfect for nite vision like they advertised, amazingly well, however, daytime viewing is not as great due to looking at an LCD screen, so the difference is looking thru bino's that are optical (using lenses) or viewing thru this unit that is Digital, not as crystal clear as optical, so the zoom is not at far as i would have liked but i still am impressed with the nite vision function, so for me will be a nite time tool instead. and the fact it can record or take pic's helps tremendously.

I would highly recommend buying these binoculars! The quality is awesome, videos and pictures are very clear and we have had a blast sharing with our friends and family. I will post pictures later. These are by far the best quality night vision binoculars at a VERY reasonable price!

I assumed it would be jenky because of the cost. It’s NOT. the zoom distance is awesome and the images are CLEAR! Comes with an sd card and everything. For a small handheld it’s awesome. I wish the screen was a bit bigger but other than that it’s AWESOME

The product looks well made and feels solid but the night vision image quality looks nothing like the advertisement leads one to believe. You can tell if its a person or animal but I doubt that you can identify the individual by facial features or see Zebra stripes (as shown) unless the subject was very close. Also the red IR light emitted is visible from a distance revealing your location to the person at the other end. So if you just want to look into the dark and see if anyone is there this product will suffice but if want to know who it is or any details probably not. Personally I was disappointed and returned them with no hassle.

Short review: Please note that this item is NOT a 1 star item. Build quality is quite average and it does work in the darkness. I would rate this around 3 stars with comparable night vision items in this price range. Which means "it works as advertised, and is not especially outstanding versus current items out on the market at this price range." This item is being rated at 1 star so notice may be given on an issue discovered that may be important to note before your purchase. My item has an extremely limited "field of view." Similar to a rifle scope. Not like binoculars at all. For those of you without so much experience with rifle scopes, what does this mean? When you look through a rifle scope at your target, the scope shows only a very limited sight picture of your target and not all the things surrounding it (like the bushes on the side etc.) however, with binoculars, the view is greatly expanded so you can see larger patches of the general area. Think of it like a when you can only see the head on a photograph vs. a full photograph which includes everything else (background, person's body etc.). This obviously is troubling and does not serve the purpose that I purchased this item for. If you are trying to spot critters at night, in the dark, it would be MUCH better to see large swaths of area as opposed to a single, tiny spot (it makes finding stuff at night easier as you can cover much more area as well). Also, just so potential buyers are aware, you are not "invisible" to whatever it is you are looking at. The "IR" is VISIBLE. There is a bright RED LIGHT that is emitted from the binoculars themselves. So, you could be looking into the darkness, but whatever is out there in the darkness is also aware of you! I saw that there was a reviewer that said he purchased this so he could look out into his fields in the darkness. Be aware that wherever you are looking, they can see the bright RED DOT "IR" light being emitted from the "IR." - and as I know it, IR should not be visible to us... for those of you who have already purchased your units, please check your units, as you could be giving away your position! You WILL be observed from the other end of this unit! For some reason, my item arrived with this extremely limited and concentrated field of view. I have contacted the seller and will update if I get any response. I will write a longer review if there is any interest in this item. As of now, I will try to get this situation resolved with seller. I buy these items with my own pennies. If you found this review helpful at all, please share the love and click on that "helpful" icon. BTW, just as a simple beginning reference as to how you can tell if your binoculars are actually showing the field of view that you have been promised (or if it is spotting like a set of binoculars or a rifle scope): have a point of reference (like a tree or edge of a building). When you are viewing through your binoculars, place one of the viewing edges of your binocular (right or left - your preference) up against your point of reference. Now, look to the opposite side, and see where it cuts out keeping in mind anything else there as a point of reference. When you take the binoculars from your eyes, look at the distance you are from the reference points, and basically draw a mental triangle to the three points. Your field of view from your binoculars are "around" this angle. So, if it is a pair of binoculars, and it has a 31mm lens for a wider field of view (for example) - you should expect that it has something more than a 45 degree angle of viewing (which would go closer to a spotting scope - rifle scopes could have even less - like 9 degrees). **UPDATE** The seller was very quick in their response time and I was able to return this item without any issues. Please note that this item has been listed with a 9 (NINE) degree field of view. It was not an error. It is the actual field of view. Also, the seller explained that these are considered "binoculars" because a person can see through this item with 2 eyes. As opposed to seeing through it with a single eye (such as with a rifle scope). This may conflict with some people's traditional understanding of "binoculars" as we tend to believe that binoculars also mean that we have two separate "view tubes." Honestly, I cannot find fault to the seller's definition. But it should be noted that you are basically looking down one tube with both eyes, as opposed to two separate tubes with two eyes (remember, this is also just part of the cost of technology, and it would be a much more expensive item if a person expected 2 separate night-vision tubes). Seller also explained that the night vision "IR" light is visible because it is at 850nm, but due to its nature, it will not go very far. This was not exactly my own personal experience with this unit, as I was able to spot it at every distance I stood away from it (not very far). I know that red light doesn't "travel" very far, but that is more in terms of miles away. For the distances that this item is being used for, and for the person that is using it for security related purposes on his property, you may want to measure the distances, and test it out yourself. There is a "known" issue with the battery covers for this item - and I like to believe the company is working on something to correct it. The plastic snapping parts of the cover are... for lack of a better way to say it... lower quality. I see these breaking in a short time as the ones I had were already losing their springy qualities after first use. You know the feeling of a piece of plastic when you bend it for the first time, and it doesn't spring or flex back? The part where it bends turns white, and you know that if you bent it again, it would basically snap in half? It was that feeling. My item had some sort of "defect" with the viewing screen - this does NOT mean that yours will have it too. I did not have any burnt out pixels or anything, but the image had horizontal lines similar to interlaced video as opposed to progressive video. For those of you who don't know what this means, you don't really have to worry too much about it. Again, I believe this to be a possible defect more than anything and may not apply to all units. As of this writing, this item is an actively supported item. The seller is a sincere company. They will support this item if there are problems with it. I am pretty confident of that from our interactions through email. If this item meets your requirements, and the price is acceptable, do not hesitate to buy this item from them. I have returned this item, and no longer have it for any further testing or updates.
