Worked well ! Didn’t have the pour too much. Lit right away, stayed lit for quite awhile. Quick & Simple, easy Peezy, lemon squeezy!

We have ordered the 10 pound box twice now and have had 0 problems. We use it a lot in our fireplace and in our outside fire pit. Using only a couple of sticks, the kindling lights easily and sustains a flame for long enough for the firewood to catch. Will order again when the weather turns cold.

This item is great when used to help larger pieces off wood to burn. It lasts and does not require a lot of sticks at one time.

This is my second box that I've purchased but my first review. I used these to start fire outdoors and indoors on my wood chimney. What attracts me to this product is 2 fold. First the smell is great, if I could place these throughout my house I would but I'm sure my wife wouldn't allow. Honestly these have a great wood aroma of fresh cut wood. Second, the ease of use. When starting a either outdoors or indoors, I usually place 2 sticks directly underneath wood with about a half inch to inch of space. The sticks light fast and burn hot. Usually last a few minutes before they completely disappear. It is also not often that I have to use more than 2, usually 2 to 3 sticks will do the trick.

I have been purchasing kindling from Plow and Hearth for several years, however, this company is having difficulty in maintaining their supply chain and consequently the cost of kindling has become prohibitive. Last year I found this company which has far more sustainable practices and the wood source is from fallen trees here in the US. That alone limits the potential for non-native invasive species and unsustainable practices. The other plus is the cost is a fraction of what I formerly spent on this product. Great value, sustainable and it's from the USA! I will be purchasing this item again during the heating season.
