The first welding I ever did was using an arc welder to make a tool trolley when I started my YTS as a motor mechanic in 1987. I've bought a few mig welders over the years and that's what I got used to. These inverter arcs are Good value,very small and powerful and the more u use it the better I will get. I like the digital amp gauge as it's easier to learn what power with what thickness metal,Sometimes the rod 'sticks' but normally if more power is needed,but overall I love this but an automatic full mask is a must to protect your eyes properly.

The welder machine is light and portable and easy to use and produced quality welds, it delivers everything the manufacturers have stated in their specifications. I have just completed a 40mm x 40mm raised decking framework and the welder performed faultlessly.Excellent value for money and one of my best purchases to date.

Delivered fine, well packaged and on opening, looks like a nice little machine. Only two issues prevent me from giving it a 5 star review.Firstly, although the photos show a UK plug fitted to the lead, it came with a two pin plug and UK adapter. Unfortunately, the plug doesn't stay in the adapter, so had to use electrical tape to hold them together.Secondly, don't use the welder unless you've bought a mask. The face shield one in the box has poorly fitting glass, and the light from welding glares through somewhat painfully...Those points aside, it's surprisingly good, considering the price point.

I am very pleased with this welder. Physically it is very space-friendly taking up little room and despite having a powerful fan doesn't create any noise nuisance. It generally speaking is very well made with all its surfaces and interactive parts being sturdy and fit for purpose. The amperage control valve is particularly precise allowing the user to choose an exact amperage. The electrode and work cables are of a high quality which surprised me considering the price. This welding machine has delivered good arcs throughout the past month that I have been using it. There have been some quality issues when I have attached cheap electrode rods but that is par for the course. For the price it is a must have.

It doesn’t matter how carefully you read the instructions if the product is basically unsafe. The picture is of the fuse from the mains plug of the unit that arrived today. It’s a 13 amp fuse. It has a wire soldered across it.Took the fuse out to check after tripping the circuit breaker in my garage. Unit would not power up so assumed fuse had blown. Fuse would not come out of plug because, as I now know, it’s soldered in. This is not safe.

This is an amazing welding kit. It is so small, it's quiet and gives a steady current. It is a quality product, everything is well made. One small thing, for those in the UK, it comes with an adapter for the plug, which has no earth. I followed the instruction and took a separate earth lead from the body of the welder (there is a screw on the chassis) and used a second UK plug just for the earth connection. So I just plugged into a double socket, one for earth alone and the other for the supply. But other than that a great piece of kit!! fully recommend it.

Came on time, great little welder for the money, nice arc, can keep arc very well and produces great welds, well able for the 6013-3.2 electrodes. Very good strong leads for its size very powerfull

Cheap you get wheat you pay for works but not well amps are about half what is displayed on the unit so takes alot of messing around to get any kind of consistent bead the plug is also dident look very safe with a forgein plug and cheap adapter chucked in the box
