ZippoOutdoor Utility Rugged Butane Lighter - Chrome/Black

Bought this last Christmas for my son but only got to use it this Christmas to light the fire in his house. Well filled with butane of good quality, adjusted to maximum flame size, produced a flame about the size of half a T-light flame. My expectation was more of a small blowtorch flame. Too late to send it back so total waste of money even though it was of good manufacture. If you buy, test it early and send it back if it's like the one I bought. Very disappointed.

I have long been a fan of Zippo lighters and own and have owned many. So i knew this would be a quality item with the Zippo name on it. It is quite heavy, but its solid too, made from quality components like you would expect. The child resistant feature does take a fair amount of pressure on both switches which have to be pressed simultaneously which would be difficult for any child to operate due to the strength required to press both buttons. You have to squeeze them both quite hard. That said, i love it! It will more than suit my needs and i expect it will last for many years. I like the wind resistant flame it has. I like everything about it and it was well worth the price i paid.

Well made and solid lighter but placement of safety and ignition switches make using it a touch challenging and wouldn't be suitable for smaller hands

A real pain to use, while having two buttons that have to be pressed makes sense, the reality is they are both so stiff and in weird positions as to make it vert difficult to use. Would not buy one again

Rubbish don't waste your money with this zippo broken within 2 weeks crap

MUCH bigger than I thought it would be! Huge! Also very difficult to operate - you have to press one button in whilst you slide another, it's very awkward. This is not something I will actually use. In the end I bought a TurboFlame ARC lighter, which is awesome. Small, light and works very well :-) Sorry Zippo - I love your classic petrol lighters, but this is just not good...
