I was stoked to find this perfect replacement for my 35 year old sander!

Note* (This product is not a Hook and Loop Replacement Standard Pad) the "Velcro" like pad..If you want the Hook and Loop variety > Amazon: PORTER-CABLE 18001 6-Inch 6-Hole Hook and Loop Standard Pad; it is a fully functional stand alone pad... with a very misleading "flat" looking preview... but it's excellent 5 starsPurchased both this product and the above ^ PC 18001 as replacement pad for a PorterCable 7336.This is a product description for the black side .. from observation.. of the 6" diameter Adhesive backed pad:If you look at the preview picture, the black side is still made of that soft foam, but the black back surface area is pre-stiffened and prescorn for adhesive bonding and completely empty.. void.. (blank) of anything besides the foam material.Note* A preview of the black side probably wouldn't help much.. I've seen other sites that will only show you the back as a Black Circular disc.. which shows you nothing...The 6" adhesive back standard pad does work with my model and seems well made.

The replacement pad is an original Porter Cable item and comes in a Porter Cable packaging. Same part number as my sander which I have owned for more than 20 years.

It’s 6” in diameter, is covered in Velcro, and spins the sandpaper. Go figure. Just don’t get too aggressive with it as its foam will fly if you do. Sadly, Porter Cable discontinued the hard disc, and produce only this soft one now, which is way too soft, so it eats the sanding discs like crazy.

Exact replacement. I hope it is the same quality as the original which had an excellent service life.
