This set of rim shapers is a handy accessory for making uniform mugs and other vessels when throwing pottery.The set is made of plastic. It has the feel of a 3D printed set, with fairly thin plastic. The chucks with the handles attach easily and seem like they'll all work for their intended purpose.It's a little frustrating that the set comes with zero instructions. The photos in the listing for the set shows you how to attach the handles, but there's no paper in the actual box that tells you this, so it's not good for gift giving and it's a little inconvenient to have to go back to amazon to get those instructions.While they seem smooth enough to use as rim shapers, they do feel a little flimsy or insubstantial. They just lack the nice heft that other pottery accessories often have.For the quality, and the last of instructions I'll have to rank them at 3 stars, but they're fine if you want to try out rim shapers to hone in your consistency, or as a an accessibility aid for anyone with shaky hands.

This set is very cheap. Not quite sure what to do with the smaller, funnel-like shapes since they don’t have handles. Would be better if the plastic was higher quality
