I absolutely love Virginia Peanuts, and they are not a common item in Northeast grocery stores. These days, of course, just about anything your heart desires can be found online. Bonus - these Virginia Peanuts come in snack sized bags. I was so excited when they arrived. They are absolutely delicious! They were shipped neatly and carefully, and I will most certainly buy again.

My husband loves these Virginia peanuts. He ate a whole can in just two sittings. They are very flavorful, fresh and crunchy with a long expiration date and just the right amount of salt. They are worth the higher cost. After eating these, you don't want to return to eating regular peanuts again. These do not taste overly processed. High quality. Wish these were sold in different quantity choices though, maybe 2, 3 or 4? Just one would be gone too soon to satisfy you.

These are the best peanuts, hands down, no arguments. I first had Virginia peanuts last Christmas when we visited Mount Vernon and they sold them in the gift shop. From the first handful I was hooked. They really do taste better, have a great crunch. I bought a big can to work, before the virus hit, the beg. of 2020 and the entire office fell for them. At first they were wondering why I had a big can of peanuts at my desk, and when I told them it was the best peanut they would ever have they were dubious. A peanut's a peanut - or so they thought. One try and that was it. Several people said they were creamy, buttery tasting, more crunchy than the 'standard' peanut. One of my co-workers is from Virginia, and when he saw the can he became my new best friend. You have VA peanuts! and put out his hand. I now always make sure I have them around.

These nuts were fresh, not too salty and we are really enjoying them. I was hoping this was the brand of nuts I was gifted a few years ago but it’s definitely not. I was looking for a blister fried extra large peanut that the blisters were large enough you could see them, this is not what I had hoped for but still a really good nut.

If you have never tasted these blister roasted giant Virginia peanuts, you have no idea how good peanuts can taste! These peanuts come vacuum packed in a sturdy steel can, the WILL arrive both fresh and in good condition. The peanuts themselves are on average twice the size of your regular grocery store peanut. These come from southeast Virginia where they are brought in from the fields and undergo a special roasting process the locals call "blister roasting" that leaves the surface of the peanuts covered with tiny "reverse dimples" (my term for them). I've never seen this process or this cultivar of peanut anywhere else. Have you ever compared Planters brand peanuts to the cheaper brands and found those cheap peanuts lacking in flavor? Well Feridies peanuts are MUCH more better than Planters, than Planters are better than those cheap peanuts. Here's a short anecdote for you; the last time I was in the southeastern Virginia area (I had not been there since I was young and in the US Navy), I left with over $200 worth of Feridies peanuts wedged in among my luggage in the trunk of my car. If you have not tried these peanuts, you do not know how good peanuts can be!

Right out of the package these peanuts are much more tasty than other little packets of peanuts available all over. They taste fresh and almost sweet. BUT, spread them on a cookie sheet and roast/warm them in a 250 F oven for 12 minutes and they get this OMG quality. It isn't just me saying so, everyone who has visited and been fed these roasted peanuts remarks on how good they are. The bowl is always empty within an hour or so.
