Although some negative reviews this product is really good for the price and does the job well. As it has silicon grips it is easily cleaned and isn't that bad to grip. However the suction cups arnt that good and do come off quite a bit. I recommend for people who want a cheap wheel before they splash out on an 'expensive one' as I couldn't find this anywhere the wheel size is 23cm and I could not get my units vibration motors to work.

It's a good wheel for the low price but I have had some issues. Personaly I use it for F1 2010 and it works fine. It uses suction pads to stick down to the surface which unfortunatly are not sufficiant and I find it gets pulled off my desk. It is not compatible with any of the Need For Speed games. The wheel itself feels sturdy and it comfortable to hold and the pedals work well and do not slip and slide.

Okay, so it started off okay, almost exceptional for the price, the only problem being the fact that the wheel slides around alot as it uses suction cups in place of a mount, which is stupid, but today, the second day of me using it, I had this massive deadzone problem, I wouldnt move the wheel and it would turn left automatically, and i had to turn about 30/40 degrees to the right before it registered any movement. Not worth the money at all, now it's just taking up space.

My son loves his varous racing based games on the computer such as Need for Speed and so I brought him this as I thought it would give him a better 'on-the-road' experience so to speak. I can honestly say I have never seen him put any of my presents to such extensive use. He's never off of it!He loves the realistic feel of the wheel and says it feels like he is racing along sitting in his own car - even though he is not old enough to drive! I have had the odd go and I must admit that the effects such as the rubberised feel to the steering wheel and the vibrations do make it like you have your own personalised racing car right there in the living room.Excellent quality and smooth, precise control along with an experience and enjoyment that you could never get out of a simple, standard analogue controller.

Funciona bien. Dependiendo del juego los pedales van o no van. Igual me pasa con la vibración. No lo puedo comparar con otros porque es el primero que tengo. Si tenemos en cuenta el precio el producto está muy bien.

Nach langen überlegen hab ich mich zu den Hama PC-Racing-Wheel Thunder V18 entschieden und muss sagen, dass Lenkrad ist für den Preis extrem gut. Die Verarbeitung ist solide und die Optik ist auch für meinen Geschmack sehr gelungen.Zuerst habe ich die mitgelieferte Mini CD installiert, wo sich die Treiber für das Lenkrad befinden.Danach wurde das Lenkrad auch sofort erkannt.Hier muss ich den anderen Rezensionen widersprechen. Mein Betriebssystem ist Windows 7 Professional und das Lenkrad wird immer erkannt. Ich muss keinesfalls den PC immer neustarten damit es im Game erkannt wird. Egal ob vor oder während des Games, kann ich das Lenkrad vom USB trennen und wieder verbinden, sofort ist es da, alles ohne Probleme und KEIN NEUSTART des PC's notwendig. Was ich schon sehr angenehm finde.Ich habe das Lenkrad an zwei Spielen getestet. Zuerst am Assetto Corsa, da wurde es sofort erkannt und auch die Einstellungen konnten sehr genau vorgenommen werden. Nun ist dieses Spiel auch eine sehr gute Rennsimulation, wo extrem viel Wert auf Einstellungen und Konfiguration gelegt wurde. Da ist alles ganz nach Geschmack des Users möglich. Das Lenkrad hat zwar NUR einen RADIUS von 180° Grad, aber in den meisten Fällen wird das ausreichen. Die Pedale für Gas und Bremse funktionieren einwandfrei, das einzige was mal passieren kann, dass sie leicht wegrutschen. Dieses Problem haben aber sehr viele Lenkräder, da kann man sich aber behelfen mit Antirutschmatten oder Ähnliches bzw. einfach ein Stopper hinter den Pedalen legen.Danach habe ich das zweite Game getestet, welches für Lenkräder leider ein Härtefall ist, weil es laut Hersteller gar nicht vorgesehen ist, das Renngame mit PC Lenkrad zu fahren!?!?! Das ist sehr sonderbar aber ist leider so. Die Rede ist von Need for Speed Rivals. Nach langen suchen habe ich aber ein Patch im Netz gefunden, einen sogenannten Gamepad Emulator. Damit ist es möglich, den vorgesehenen Gamepad als Lenkrad umzukonfigurieren. Auch hier wurde das Lenkrad erkannt und nach einigen Probieren habe ich dann die Belegung herausgefunden und alles gespeichert. Und nun ist das Game auch wunderbar mit Lenkrad und allen Zusatztasten zu spielen. Die Gesamte Bedienung des Games ist dann mit diesen Lenkrad möglich.Dann war aber allgemein ein Punkt, der mir bei diesen Lenkrad und auch bei wohl fast allen anderen auf den Markt befindlichen nicht so gefällt und da finde ich, ist von Seiten der Hersteller ein Denkfehler.Was ich total störend und nervig finde ist, dass diese Lenkräder allgemein zu schwergängig sind und eine Mitteleinrastung haben. Die Schwergängigkeit ist fast gleichzusetzen mit ein Fahrzeug ohne Servolenkung beim rangieren, ein/ausparken usw...Aber jedes Fahrzeug lässt sich dann während der Fahrt und grad bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten locker, leicht Lenken ohne viel Kraftaufwand und wo gibs bei einen realen Fahrzeug eine Mitteleinrastung wo das Lenkrad immer wieder hin springt???Diese Schwergängigkeit ist auch bei dem Hama PC-Racing-Wheel Thunder V18 der Fall. Diesbezüglich wundert es mich auch überhaupt nicht, dass die Gumminoppen nicht so richtig halten wollen, weil man einfach zu viel Kraft aufwenden muss um das Lenkrad zu bewegen.Auf Holz hält es in der Tat nicht gut, da muss man sich eine andere Unterlage nehmen, die sehr Glatt ist, z.B. Glas oder Metalplatte.Ich habe dann eine kleine Modifikation vorgenommen und siehe da??........... Nun funktioniert es "butterweich" und fährt sich damit total entspannt. Das ist so angenehm und leichtgängig dass man jetzt (wenn man will) mit dem kleinen Finger lenken kann und diese Mitteleinrastung mit Sprungfeder ist auch nicht mehr da, nun kann man, so wie im echten PKW nach Gefühl Lenken und es ist somit sehr viel leichter und schneller zu fahren.Abschließend kann ich sagen, ein tolles Lenkrad, super Verarbeitung, super Optik. Wer nicht unbedingt ein 900°Grad Radius Lenkrad benötigt, kann hier ne Menge Geld sparen und hat dennoch ein hochwertiges solides Lenkrad was wohl auch lange halten wird.Deshalb von mir volle fünf Sterne. Absolute Empfehlung !!

Je pensais que vu le prix de cet article, ça ne devait pas être quelque chose d'extraordinaire, mais j'ai pris le risque et j'ai bien fait, contrairement à ce que je pensais, ce volant fonctionne très bien et correspond exactement à ce que j'attendais, merci

Prima di tutto è arrivato non contenuto nella scatola di Amazon, quindi con oggetto contenuto in bella vista (non che io, personalmente, lo dovessi tenere segreto, ma dovrebbe essere il cliente a scegliere se far vedere in giro quello che compra).Inoltre, e questa è la parte decisiva, è di pessima qualità. I materiali sono accettabili (anche se scricchiolano un po'), ma il volante ha un "zona morta" immensa! Assolutamente inutilizzabile in giochi che pretendano un minimo di precisione nella sterzata. In pratica, dei 180° di rotazione del volante sono percepiti solo la metà (sia l'inizio che la fine della sterzata non fanno nulla, c'è solo una piccola area in cui succede tutto).Tra l'altro le ventose non tengono neanche un paio di secondi, rendendo l'utilizzo faticoso e difficile (a ogni curva si sposta tutto il blocco del volante).Una cosa inutile, a mio parere, a prescindere dalla qualità dell'oggetto , è il fatto che si possa disattivare la modalità analogica in favore di quella digitale (passando da una sterzata, accelerata e frenata lineari, graduali e regolabili, al "o tutto o niente", in cui il minimo tocco di volante, freno o acceleratore sparerà il relativo valore al massimo, rendendo il controllo a dir poco arduo.Reso avviato
