I’ve been thinking about Roman just for a really long time and I’ve done a lot of research.I finally bit the bullet and purchased these for my little girls room and I am so pleased.They look elegant and beautiful and are super easy to install and use.The magnetic feature is amazing.I can’t wait to purchase more for the rest of my house

These are honestly stunning but just make sure you are putting them somewhere where you'd like light to filter in. They really do not block much at all, but look great!

From pure product point of view this shade has very good quality and very easy to install, exactly what I expected. Love it! Didn't giving 5 stars as I believe the vendor and Amazon still need to improve on logistics. I placed one order of two shades on 9/29, but each shade came on different date via different carrier, after a couple of times delay and several phone enquires. And one shade had no bracket kits inside! Called Amazon and was told a replacement won't come until 10/13. The good thing was that I called the vendor directly and received a bracket kits two days later. The whole process caused troubles to me since I had to have a contractor to install the shades for me, and had to reschedule with him again and again.

Installed this shade pretty quickly. We placed it just above the window frame and it looks good! It’s some what sheer which is fine. Cordless feature works well. It does add texture and a nice change from the wood blinds we previously had.

The idea behind mounting/installing these is really straight forward the issue I ran into is that the pin makes using a drill a bit tricky and the screws stripped fairly easy. The inside of my windows was more narrow then the brackets so I was only able to use 4 (two top and bottom) of the eight screws AND I had to drill a hole on one side of each shade to get the pin to fit…the milled slot just wasn’t long enough but they are excellent quality for the price they pull down and retract up with just a slight pull and push. Now that they’re up I would actually buy again

The shades look very high end. They work well. I had to return because they were not long enough for my windows. I was hoping they might be a little longer than stated, but the length was actually a little less than stated.

Overall impression: I bought 7 of these blinds, all the same size 39x64. I am very happy with the looks of them. But if you are a picky person, here are a few details that may sway your decision. If you are a super picky ocd perfectionist, then these blinds are probably not for you.1. The color is pretty, a soft white. They are a natural product so the reeds are different sizes allowing plenty of light in.2. The headers/flaps are different lengths but I am going to turn up one hem by gluing it to make it match—easily resolved. Only one out of the seven is really long. The rest vary by a 1/4” or so. Again, natural product so not perfect.3. One blind is sort of droopy one side. I’m just going to switch placement with another one. They all work nicely pulling and pushing gently up or down. You do have to reach under to grab the bar but once you do it a few times, you get how they work.4. Installation was mostly a one person job. He just needed an extra hand holding up the blind/flap to screw the wing nuts on. I warned him about the reviews of the screws stripping/shearing and he predrilled holes in a few spots. The blinds were surprisingly heavy.5. One blind had some ripped stitches (see photo) on the valance. But it sort of blends in but I may swap positions in this one too.6. Looking at the blinds from outside in, you can definitely see through them. These are NOT privacy/black out blinds. More like a heavily patterned sheer.7. A few of the blinds have a gap at the top where you can see the mounting wood piece (see photo). Five out of seven window mounts are at eye level. I plan to use a white paint marker and blend it in—easily resolved.I wish these came in a larger size so my picture window would match the rest of the house. I had to order from another company for a 75” blind.Other than that, I really do like these blinds. They are a natural product so there are imperfections but they are easily fixed. I would buy them again.

Installation is so easy - fool-proof, really. Too easy??? There are 4" slots in the wood for mounting, instead of holes. So your little brackets that come in the hardware kit don't have to be perfectly aligned - you have plenty of room to centre it. The brackets were simple to install for us because we have a header over our window (as most should). I'll update my review if the mechanism to raise and lower the blind breaks over time, but I have no reason to be so skeptical based on what appears to be a quality design and product. We are impressed with ease of install, the look of the blind is really nice. Would recommend - meets my fussy standards so far for install, functionality and appearance.

I absolutely love these blinds - worth the plurge!I was hoping to fit them within the window frame, but the previous owners put a quarter round trim in there so it wouldn't fit the depth of the window box. Either way, installation took about 15 minutes!They provide a nice amount of light diffusion without making the room feel dark or closed off. I'm impressed too by the mechanics to open & close them - you just pull down and they hold in place until you push them back up!I like not having a cord pull - makes these feel very light and minimal. 10/10 score.
