Makes deadheading a deep border o lot easier
Brilliant, I have a 6ft deep border that I grow cosmos in each year. This allows me to deadhead the cosmos at the back of the border without having to wade in there standing on plants and getting muddy shoes. Itโs that good at this job Iโm reluctant to use it for anything else tbh, it was expensive enough that I want it to last and itโs made a pain of job relatively easy. The handle and head seem very sturdy, the shaft is just aluminium, Iโm guessing for weight saving so Iโd imagine it could get easily damaged if stood on or hit with anything. For me this is a 5 star product just because it does a specific job extremely well

excellent
I love this!!!! I live in a sheltered scheme, and have a 12 ft square raised flower bed of my own. Two sides are on the flat, or on the railings, making it difficult for me to reach over to all the plants. I wanted to dead head my lavenders, and this is perfect, it can reach right over and is very SNIPPY. Obviously you are only able to do a couple of plants at a time as they arn't long shears, but i just do a little a day. I love the futuristic look of them-they are rather addictive- You wonder what you can SNIP NEXT.

Useful tool for light trimming
We've been using this snapper mostly for trimming thin branches off trees, and for this it works well. It's very adaptable to various angles and not too heavy, although it's best not to use it for too long, as it can cause pain in the wrist and arm, especially when the branches are a bit tougher. I wouldn't try and cut anything thicker than the diameter of your little finger.

A most useful tool, five stars!
This is a wonderful tool for any gardener but particularly the more senior gardeners like myself who have difficulty bending down or reaching up. I have a wisteria which constantly needs keeping under control. The ability to hold onto the cuttings is great especially for stinging or thorny plants and weeds. Nice one!

Brilliant
I am so pleased with these secateurs. They are light, easy to use, well made. I am in my 70s and not very tall but now I can dead head my climbing roses, no need for steps or ladders.

Darlac, the snappy little fixer.
Darlac 'Snapper', now affectionately known as The Darlac, not to be confused with Daleks, is a brilliant piece of kit. It makes snipping off those annoying straggling twigs and reaching those 'just out of reach' flowers, a piece of cake. Sturdy, well made, well worth the price.

Working well so far
Nice and easy to use I've only just starting it so it's to early to say if it will last it's light weight and comfortable to use. I clean it after using it which means spraying the blade with oil to prevent the blade from rusting and to keep everything operating. If you are looking to cut thin stems or branches then this is for you it's nice and sharp and good value I wish I had gone for the longer reach but that's a personal choice

make light work of dead heading and light pruning jobs
Added one of these to my growing collection of Darlac kit , and as a result bought an extendable one as well, an excellent tool...if I had one complaint ot would be that its east to trap your finger when releasing the handle that operates the cutting mechanism ....
