I’ve had my original Conair Double Ceramic iron for about 6 months, and I just purchased this second one specifically to keep in my luggage for work. I work for an airline and travel constantly, and I’ve realized I can't be without this specific iron. The Performance: I recently cut my hair shorter and was looking for more volume without the frizz. This 1-inch barrel is the "sweet spot" for short to medium hair. It gives my hair a really nice bounce and lift at the root, but the ceramic coating actually keeps the strands smooth. I struggle with frizz in different climates, but this seems to seal the cuticle better than some of my more expensive tools. Why I Bought a Second: Reliability: My first one has been a workhorse for half a year with no issues. Travel-Friendly: It’s lightweight (important for my crew bag) and heats up fast enough for quick mornings before a flight, like really early 3am! Results: It creates a classic, polished curl that holds up through long shifts. Minor Note: The buttons are positioned where you might accidentally hit them if you have a tight grip, but once you get used to the hand placement, it’s not an issue. The Verdict: If you have shorter hair and want volume that stays smooth rather than "poofy," this is the best value iron on the market. It's affordable enough to buy two, but performs like a professional tool.

Love love love it ! Soooo easy to use and curl hair in such a short amount of time!! The only thing is that as someone else said, the on / off button is easily hit while using and I shut it off not knowing so. This should be moved to not happen continuously. Other than that I love it! Wonderful job !

I will preface this comment with the fact that, I was replacing my curling iron that I had for years, which is now quite expensive. Therefore I am somewhat drawing comparisons in this review. For the price, this curling iron operates as expected. It is extremely lightweight compared to my old one, and for some that may be a plus, but for me a little weight means I don't have to worry about it being easily knocked off my counter. When you rest this on your counter, it has a small lip that it rests on, which has a shallow profile and it is plastic, or some plastic material like the handle is made of. I am not the biggest fan but on the other hand it doesn't tangle in your hair. It heats pretty fast, the slick barrel curls pretty well but shorter hair can slip through pretty easy. For the money its a decent curling iron, but you get what you pay for overall.

This is a great value for a great Conair curling iron. It clamps well and heats up quickly. Be careful of the heat dial! It can burn if on too high. Start off cool and then turn up. Also good for thick hair.

I’ve had this product going on a year plus and overall for the price I’d say it’s not a terrible product it does leave my hair with some pretty solid girls, however it just snags and pulls on my hair so incredibly bad. It’s constantly catching and ripping out my hair and it’s generally painful to work with. It wasn’t as bad in the beginning but after more than five uses it started getting pretty unbearable and then I’ll stop using it and come back to it after a while hoping maybe I’ll have a different way to work it that is better and it just is the same issue as before.

For the price, this is excellent. $15 for a solid curling iron, I am happy. The only thing I would change is the buttons for the on/off are easy to press when curling on accident. But other than that, it does a great job at curling and it has multiple heat settings.

Atendeu minhas expectativas

I had originally bought the 1 1/2" wand of the same brand but it didn't work well for my just above the shoulder length hair, it barely made any curls. I exchanged it for this one and it works much better. I'm sure it would work even better on a bit longer hair but this one gives me large curls at the ends. This is my first curling wand and II was looking for something inexpensive since I'm a beginner and wasn't sure if it would work well on my hair. I have fine hair so I don't need a lot of heat and it does the job well, I set it to about medium temperature and hold it for 10 seconds. Good wand for beginners at least.

The cord plug is thin and not expected quality. Not recommended. Better to pay double/triple for good quality product.
