I was a bit hesitant to get this because of the mixed views, but decided to get it because it was the best sounding one on the low end of the price spectrum. I have punched and bound close to 2,000 pages with it in the last 2 weeks of owning it. It is a champ. I am very pleased with it. The only thing is that it doesn't actually bind them...I find the coil often gets snagged on the back cover and needs a slight push on the cover to pop it through each hole. No big deal if you don't mind spinning the coil yourself. The motorized coil spinner really only works to remove the coil if for some reason you want to rebind a book, which is a huge help. My children love helping me spin the coils onto the books, so its not big deal for me. I am definitely glad I bought this!

I think this is a good investment. We bought this for church to bind prayer books. Binding is quick and easy. The machine itself is kind of heavy. It makes the holes quickly. Only complaint is that sometimes the handle is a little hard to push down. It could be just me as I don’t have tons of upper body strength. I keep it in the box for storage because it is a pretty large size for me to keep out all the time. Overall a good purchase that I’m happy with.

The instructions were not the best with putting the handle on and taking the tool off. Does the job , satisfied with the final product of burning coloring books .

This is a good basic spiral binding machine. It can punch up to 12 pages at a time, and makes clean punches. The tray for the punch scraps is easy to remove and empty, then replace. You can adjust where the holes fall from the edge of the paper, with 3 different positions available. The handle is easy to remove for storage, attaching with a bolt on the side. The roller on the top does okay feeding the spiral bindings onto the paper, but it does struggle if you have more than about 25 sheets of paper you're trying to bind. It also won't work with the large 7/8" spirals, at least not that I've been able to get it to work with several attempts. The smaller spirals work best, with thinner projects. You can't adjust the hole positions or disengage some of the holes, so if your project isn't just the right measurement, you'll get a little bit of a partial hole punched at the top or bottom depending on how you position your paper. It's sturdy and heavy, so it can hold up to a lot of use. I've been using it to make notebooks, and have been able to bind up to 55 pages with the roller on top and some coaxing and moving it along in small sections. Thinner notebooks it will feed the spiral right through without any problems. If you're wanting to use it to bind anything thicker, you can use it to punch the holes, but be prepared to feed the spirals on by hand.
