Does this wrinkle and/or shrink?

Yes, it shrinks. I wash in cold and dry on medium in the dryer, and it shrank so much that I'm considering reordering TWO sizes up. I like my robes roomy, and even though my robe was big and roomy, it shrank so much that I can barely bend over without it riding up in the back. It's a great robe, but size up.

Why is the belt sewn on the side and one side of the belt is short and the other side is long??? Why isn't the belt sewn in mid back w/even sides?

It is actually good that the belt is sewn into the seam on one side. It will cause less damage with wear and is anchored into a seam. This is a good thoughtful design feature.

The pockets on it are large enough to put your iphone in，very convenient.

Can you machine dry it

I’ve machine washed and dried it with no problems.
