Women's blow dryer require more than 1000W to operate with heat on. The good ones are on the 2000W range. Once you start blowing with heat you will eventually burn the fuse. You have to use a step up transformer with the appropriate rating. Unfortunately, any step up transformer of 1000W and above I have seen are massive (like 10lbs). By chance I have one 1000W and another 1500W. I use the second for my European expresso machine and works fine.
