I got this wanting a nebulizing diffuser that had a large storage capacity and was relatively set it and forget it. I had started my home's smell better journey with a ultrasonic diffuser but quickly found myself pursuing something I could safely put atop any piece of furniture. Ultrasonic diffusers on Amazon are pretty much all good options and have high output. But with great efficacy comes even greater mess. And after a brief foray into that technology, I was looking to have it all. The device comes with an app which both works great and would have been a giant leap forward in my pursuit of no-maintenance scenting but the darn thing doesn't emit much. I actually returned the first unit to Amazon as defective and then, upon receiving the second, realized that the lack of umph was just the how the unit worked. Really disappointing too because the 2 nebulizing diffusers I now have that work great can only hold about 8 hours worth of diffuser oil given how much scent they put out and on top of that they automatically turn off after 4 hours. This thing, with probably 20 times the tank capacity, could go for weeks at the higher distribution rate of my other diffusers which is definitely all I was hoping for but the large tank is wasted as this could probably go for a month given its anemic output. My living room is a tad on the large size I guess at 1200sqft but definitely under the advertised coverage area and the whole room was by no means scented. Oh and it's noisy. Not any louder but than another cold air diffuser in pure quantum of decibels I suppose but the noise is somehow irksome in the way it's indicative of a lesser-functioning motor. Squeakier maybe?
