Denso Air Filter - 143-3045

Replaced a Fram which I noticed was coming apart along the edge. Denso is a Toyota OEM supplier, costs more than Fram but leas than Toyota branded parts. It dropped right in the airbox and didn't impede clipping the cover down. Shade tree tip: Don't forget to clean the debris out of the dirty side of your air box before installing it.

You don't need a garage to keep up on basic maintenance. I have retired now, but owned my own Toyota/Lexus Specialty Garage for 30 years in Austin, Tx, and I've seen it all~! Order your own cabin filters and air filters. Engine over heat and die from dirty clogged air filters, Air Conditioners die and have major repairs< both these are simple to keep up yourselves. Make yourself a repair log for all your repairs you perform. Some will perform more repairs themselves, but I will share a few that need to be done to have long life in you vehicle. Change Oil with a Syn Oil and filter every 5000. Inspect for dirt and deposits with Cabin AC Filter and Engine Air Filter every five thousand miles. Keep your tires up to posted cold tire pressures. When you hear something different, Stop and look for what it is~! Denso is original equipment for Toyota at about 50 to 70% of cost. Filter looks same as Toyota brand filter it replaced.

Got it for my dad's truck. Not really OEM, Denso FTF is Toyota's aftermarket budget brand. Whatever, I trust Denso's quality control. Looks like a good part, fits perfect. Will update review if it causes problems. Made in China.
