A Great Improvement
The new design of the ResMed AirTouch N30i Frame System is excellent! It's incredibly comfortable, and the nasal cushion creates a secure and effective seal. A fantastic update that enhances both usability and comfort. Highly recommended!

Smaller than normal
The size of this item is smaller than the other headgear from ResMed. I had to go up one size. Looks like it is going to be a great product once I get the correct size

Try this
I understand that not all things work for all people but I’ve been using a CPAP for several years and struggled with mouth breathing, horrific dry mouth and what seems like having an air compressor blowing in my face. This single purchase reversed all of that, the mask somehow forces me to breathe through my nose, no more dry mouth, choking, and no more noise. I’d go as far as to say, life changing.

Fits better, with better nasal pillow contact
This improved model is worth it. The full fabric lining means that the headgear stays put better and is so comfortable that I never notice it. Meanwhile, the nasal pillow is a little fuller volume, so that it fits me more easily with less leakage. The result is that it's more comfortable to put on and keep on, with no tendency to irritate my cheeks. I will be changing to this model going forward!

Love it.
Love this mask. Much more comfortable than my previous full face and nasul mask.

Great design, good quality - but no strap, no extras, and crazy expensive
The good: The ResMed AirTouch N30i Frame System for holding a CPAP "nose cushion" mask on your face is a lot more comfortable than the previous CPAP mask and no-cushion designs I've been using for the last decade. Having the hose connection point come out of the top of the headgear (on a swivel joint, no less) is a simple but ingenious design that makes it toss and turn in the night without ending up with the CPAP hose tangled around your arms or face. And the new nose-cushion design is nice and soft and gentle wraps sort of around your nose instead of pushing up into your nostrils. I'll have to test it out for longer to see if there are any downsides I haven't thought of yet, but so far so good. The not good: The biggest problem here is the price. If it goes on a major sale, it'd be easier to justify this upgrade, but currently it's going for nearly a hundred bucks which seems rather crazy for what's essentially just a single strap of flexible plastic wrapped in some light fabric, with a silicone nose-cushion popped onto it. Now, realistically, you could probably get a couple of years of use out of this (the frame, not the cushion, which will need to be replaced at least every few months or so), which brings down the price-per-month average, I suppose -- but the directions encourage you to replace the entire frame every few months and the cushion monthly, further driving up the costs if you were to really follow that (greedy?) guidance. Now, if this device at least came with some basic extra conveniences -- like a few spare nose cushions instead of only a single cushion; a fresh tube to attach to the top; and, perhaps most importantly, the required elastic head-strap that's the bare-minimium piece of equipment necessary to even put this frame on in the first place -- then a proper little starter-set like that would also help to justify the price a bit more (although even at a 10th of the current price, it wouldn't make sense to not include the elastic strap that goes around the back of your head, since the frame literally doesn't work without it; this is like a 4-piece puzzle with half the pieces missing)...However, regrettably, this is par for the course with name-brand medical equipment, including a lot of CPAP stuff like this and other items from ResMed. On the one hand, they do make really nice equipment, but their pricing is almost always out of this world, probably because their market prices are based around maximizing what they can get from health insurance companies, but my last few insurance providers stopped offering decent coverage for CPAP gear -- which is why I've had to buy equipment myself now, usually aftermarket/generic equivalents... Because in reality, although these items might be semi-niche (but more common now than ever before), the materials and designs here are not all that fancy... But if ResMed has to keep up appearances by charging their full priced-for-insurance rates like this, it makes it very hard to justify (and hard to afford) vs. generic equivalents. That said, I have to admit that I haven't found a generic version of this that's as nicely made and as comfortable as this one. No yet anyway. I just hope the price comes down, and future versions come with the full headgear/strap and spare cushions.

ResMed is an awful company.
ResMed is the embodiment of everything wrong with the medical industry. $100 for a piece of plastic and foam that costs them $2.99 to produce and you don't even get the strap to use the mask. Which I knew and ordered so both would be delivered on the same day. Of coursethey sell them separateso then Amazon magic happens and you find out they are going to be delivered on separate days.

You’ll be impressed
Huge upgrade from their first version of this, soft, fits amazingly. Flow seems to be improved quite a bit. I used to have to adjust my nose piece to better feel the ramp up air but not now. This was a good buy, it sucks it doesn’t come with a hose or strap. I have found the aftermarket straps last longer anyways
