terrific
These sunglasses are the best I have ever had, and, of course, I have gone through many, many, many in the course of many years. The glass itself is a marvel -- the vision is so clear, it almost seems as if I have on my prescription glasses. These glasses fit me perfectly, and I love the way they cover my eyes so that wind, dust, etc. cannot get in my eyes. I have used these glasses at the beach with extremely bright sunlight, and they have been perfect. The glass prohibits brightness from the sun's rays, but it is not a dark glass so vision remains clear. I rarely write reviews, but I am happy to do so for these sunglasses. Yes, they are expensive, but they are worth every penny.

Maui Jim is the best
This is maybe my 5th or 6th pair of Maui Jims. I love the wrap around style of these glasses. We have a convertible and they protect my eyes when we're driving with the top down. I bought the blue and the tint is slightly lighter than the other shades. They are great for driving and allow me to drive longer at dusk and in lower light. They are extremely scratch resistant and hold up to years of use. I still wear some of my first pairs. Had a pair stolen and have misplaced another pair or I'd still have them. Yes, you pay more, but they are so worth it.

Awesome. Well worth the money
Fits me perfect. Bought these for after eye surgery to fit right to my head and to conform to my face. They block all extra light from the sides since the arms are wider. No light leakes around the lenses. Couldnt have fit any better. Well made. This is my 3rd pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. LOVE THEM !!!

Falling, falling, falling
The lenses of these glasses are great! No complaint there. But my major complaint and regret for buying them (and so expensive) is that these glasses have no way of staying on my head, or attached to my t-shirt when I remove them from my face. Every time I take them off I have to put them in the case to protect, otherwise they fall off my head and off my clothes. This is super annoying when I have to get inside a store, or temporarily remove them to see better. It's super stressful too, because I dropped them a couple of times as they fell of my head, and I know it's a matter of days/weeks before they break. Puff goes 270 dollars. So disappointed that Maui did not think to build in gripping materials on the arms as many other quality sunglasses have! I have a pair of Breakwell too, and same problem with those!

They’re heavier than most glasses
The quality of these sunglasses was top notch. Great lenses, strong frame, well made. Only complaint is the weight of them. They do fit a little wide for my face.

MJ's are the best, hands down, but pricey
I got my MJ SuperThin's (real glass) several days ago.GOOD: the materials are world class ... these are super light weight, and the frame is made of materials that dont heat up when left in the sun or car ... hinges are the best hinges I've ever seen ... absolutely love them!BAD: but I'm returning my pair ... I have a small(er) head, and these sunglasses are small on even my smaller head ... and the 2nd reason is, the blue tint on the sunglasses looks great, but lets a little too much light in through the lens ... I haven't been to the beach with them, so I'm worried that when I do try them out, they won't knock down enough UV/light to protect any glares causing my eyes to squint. Finally, the protective case they come with is a FOLDABLE shell? if I'm forking out nearly 300 for these sunglasses I would expect a permanent hard shell to protect my investment ... and not a foldable triangle case that could collapse under nominal pressures
