I hardly dare believe it but these do seem to really deter flies! We have livestock nearby in the summer and that means lots of flies, but once I put one of these in every badly affected room, the fly problem immediately became much less. And the smell is very light, barely noticeable - apart from to flies it seems!

Seem to work fairly well on the garden dinner table. Compact so less obstructive than a large candle burning. Very lightweight and smells strongly of citronella. Seems well made and sturdy to sit upright in a breeze

Only used once on holiday but not a single fly/mosquito entered the room. Will definitely use again

No smell coming from it, even on full and not repelling flies, in fact they seem attracted to it.

This has stopped me from getting bitten. I have got it by my bed as I sleep with the window open and seemed to get bitten in the night. Since I have had it I have not got bitten once so I would say it definitely works.

These definitely work. I live 50 meters from the sea and regularly have to contend with mosquitos and bugs in general, so have to sleep with the windows shut which is horrible in summer. I opened 2 of these upstairs and 1 downstairs and can now have the windows open at night! No bugs, no bites, perfect. Will be buying more once they run out.

Unfortunately didn’t help with getting rid of the flies.
