Amazing Beach Cart
I have had this cart for several months now and it is awesome! My BF and I use it to put our ocean Kayaks on them plus our fishing gear to move them from the parking lot to beach. The cart surprisingly holds quite a lot of weight and is so very easy to steer and roll over sand, and, of course, concrete. You just need a simple strap to hold the kayak, or whatever, onto the frame and no problems. That is because we load it up! If it is just the kayak, then there is no need for the strap. Saved my arm and back muscles, which is a total bonus after you have spent hours paddling.

Jersey Paddler failed
This item was shipped by Jersey Paddler. It arrived missing the cotter pins and straps. Apparently Jersey Paddler tried to trim cost by shipping the wheels and cart in two separate shipments and parts were left out. I called Jersey Paddler and tried to get the straps and pins shipped with negative results. They said they would call me back after looking into the matter and never did. My friends have ordered the same cart from different vendors with good results. The carts were shipped in one package with the tie down straps and pins. With all that said, I would rate the actual WheelEEz cart 5 stars. Jersey Paddler gets a 1 star for customer service and follow up.

Works great over beach sand down here in east central Florida
Works great over beach sand down here in east central Florida. The supports are too close together for my 34" wide kayak. Worked fine once I got the straps on and tightened but, up to that point it was touch and go. I just recently bought and added their support rails. Haven't loaded the kayak with them installed but, it looks like it will cure the problem.

Expensive as hell, and worth it.
Carries my stupid heavy and awkward lifetime sport fisher on the beach like it’s not even there (yes, this cart cost half as much as the kayak). I had to add rails to the top using the predrilled holes. Wheeleez makes an attachment for steep hulls which may have worked, but i was able to put rails made of pvc pipe, some stainless lag bolts, and a few nuts and rubber washers, and it fits the unusual double tunnel hull of my kayak like it was built for it. It’s truly a game changer. I had a cart with fat wheel barrow wheels on it, and even half filled with air it would still drag in the San Diego sand. Not this cart. There’s zero difference on sand, asphalt, grass, whatever. Be careful of glass, sharp rocks, etc., duh. These are expensive but have great components and are built like tanks. If you’re sick of dragging your boat though soft sand, spoil yourself and get this thing. The only easier way to get a kayak to the water is to have someone else do it for you.

Great cart and good company to work with. Its pricey but, well worth it.

Poor design
There are a number of issues with this product. The cotter pins that hold the wheels on can get snagged on beach undergrowth and disengage from the wheel. Good luck finding it in the sand! Secondly, there is no way to reliably keep the support mechanism open. I have placed the straps in multiple configurations to stop the kart flipping 90 ° to no avail. If the wheels encounter any resistance, thee carrier flips 90 ° under the kayak. There ought to be a spread bar that keeps the two limbs of the kart locked in the open position when transporting the kayak. The straps provided are way too long. There were no instructions provided with the kart. So if I am dumb as to how I am strapping the kayak to the kart, I am none the wiser! I have a beach kart by the same manufacturer that works well. The wheels are great for the beach sand. I would not buy this expensive kayak kart again. I am going to see if I can modify it or look for a different product.

One happy customer
This thing is awesome how it glides over the sand well worth the money. I have used several kayak carts and this is hands down the very best.

Excellent cart. I paddle my kayak 12 months out of the year and usually have to transport it across a large stretch of sandy beach. This trailer handles well on all surfaces.
