Great Tape Deck!
Having bought a 2004 car with both CD and cassette player, I felt the need to have a good tape deck to make copies of several vinyl records I don't own on CD. This deck does the job and when treated properly will probably outlast the car.

Is not working properly and pay to much.

Not perfect, some bend on the plastic bottom, but cassette mechanisms work well enough for a used old model..
It is working well enough for a used 12 year old item. It arrived with the bottom panel somewhat bent in and needed to be pushed back as well as the front panel re straightened a bit. No box damage to indicate sam. The mechanism works fine except for some dirt in the left well had to be cleaned. A good machine and hard to find any such Dolby machines so I feel fortunate to get an oldie that still runs pretty well. I recommend this model as one of the better of its breed

Excellent tape deck
I really like the tape deck design. Great features, good price and extremely easy to use. I bought it because I have a demon receiver and DVD player.

The days of great sounding cassette recordings are gone
I bought this deck a week ago, exchanged it for another one, and my overall impression is that the quality of its recording capability is markedly inferior to my old Aiwa F770 deck, for which I cannot get replacement parts any longer. On the up side, this Denon deck plays my old tapes beautifuly, but its ability to record is markely inferior, with a noticeable degree of wow and flutter. For well recorded CD sources of string music like mandolins, the recordings it makes are barely listenable. For me the primarly utility of this Denon deck is to continue to have the ability to play old recordings, and to have a deck which seems well made and likely to last a while. CD and Flash memory recordings are so much better, that if I were you I'd think twice about buying any tape deck, unless you have a similar need to access old rare cassette recordings.
