I have combo dry/oily skin that's acne and clog prone. My normal micellar water is really drying so when I used that up I decided to try something new, and I ended up trying this, because I like freemans products, and I'm a sucker for gimmicks (probiotics)I normally wear waterproof mascara and "budge proof" foundation. Most makeup removers get rid of both just fine, while my facial cleanser just smears the mascara around.This micellar water smells like rose water, the smell isn't overpowering, it's very light and soft, not perfumeyIt's really...watery and easy to pour onto a cotton round, or pour into palms.The spout top is a little longer on the bottom so it doesn't glug or splash everywhereIt gets rid of my makeup really well. I usually use two cotton rounds or two palm fulls to completely get rid of my eye makeup. It does not melt away my makeup as well as my other cleansing water. You do have to rub it in a little to get the mascara to emulsify, but once it does, you can rinse or pat your face dryAlthough it doesn't clean my face as fast, this cleanser is much more gentle and not drying at all. My face feels soft and hydrated after cleaningI have only not used a foaming cleanser once after using this, when I was feeling lazy.
