Highly recommend
I love this board with a passion tho first 3 days of using it i did get hit by a bus and went to the hospital. I’d go to say 3 hrs of practice in a huge park with this board isn’t enough time to figure out how to use this in the streets of New York. I use this board for my job doing Uber eats deliveries and I’d have to say after recovering from my injuries and now able to use my left arm and my wrist and legs after 2 -3 weeks of healing and resting it works really well. I’d say if u even plan on going on eco mode at top speed with this please wear protective gear and i might as well want to personally change to bigger wheels so i don’t feel bumps or pavements as bad. The main problem with this board tho isn’t speed tbh and the breaking or anything with the board itself for the most part but humans. They really do get in the way and make using this more dangerous then it needs to be. For instance, lil kids love running in front of me, old people get mad curse at me and scream at me even if i don’t go near them they try to stop me as well while I’m in the middle of riding, as well as bad drivers in the street open there doors when they see me coming by or purposefully try to be mean and crash into me even tho they clearly have enough room on the road and i am on the bike lanes or even on the side walk. People get very weird and distracted when u ride this thing and treat u very differently. As if ur not human even. So when it comes to that ride safe and be very very careful take ur time and practice ones u get the hang of it it’s the best and fastest thing ever u can move into places and corners faster then bike riders go faster then some of the cars and more and portability yes with my injury to my arm has made this very hard but with the short deck and 15-16 pounds this is it really isn’t that bad to carry as long as u don’t do it for a crazy long time. Charging is awesome it charges Offaly fast tho I’d try to get another battery or a high powered portable charger to charge this thing. Suggest don’t ride in rain Bc u go a lot faster and also might slip and soak the whole board and ur feet, watch out for garbage anywhere if there is any Bc that can possibly get caught in a wheel but usually u can ride over them especially the faster u are going. Keep ur weight on the front of the board not the back like a regular skateboard Bc the board will lift and go without u if u do. Have lights for the nighttime to see the road and pavement and make sure ur feet are steady and places comfortably. Turning can be a lil hard but i made sure that the wheels are tight Bc honestly I’m kinda scared from when i used to go fast on my regular skateboard and the wheels popped off. I have a feeling that won’t happen with this board but it doesn’t hurt to try to be safe then sorry. Anyway yea this is a high recommendation Especially if you have experience riding skateboards or devices like this. I got the board for $600 and I’d have to say that is soooo damn worth it for the price and what this thing can do. Hope ya can get that lucky but yes be careful Bc if ur not protected or anything u will get hurt no doubt get bruises bleed a ton and even might die or end up in the hospital like me for a bit

Great board for last mile commutes. Long commuters should look elsewhere.
So I bought the board thinking I could use it to commute 9.4 miles to work back and forth every day. I did 4 test runs with the board and quickly realized this isn't the solution I need for that distance. Here are the top cons and pros I found:1) The 9.4 miles commute leaves me tired just from riding it. Sure the "boost" helps but the ride is hard and all that vibration is transferred to your body and no matter how good of a rider you are, your body will suffer. I'm 5'11" and 180lbs riding with a 10/15lbs backpack.2) I found the board a little unstable at high speeds. I should adjust the trucks a little more but overall at higher speeds I noticed a lot of wobbling.3) The remote isn't exactly ergonomic, but it's a minor issue.4) The charger is a beast and if you want to charge your board, you either need to have two of these (home & work) or you need to carry the brick everywhere... big and clunky!5) Being a skateboard, the wheels are obviously tiny and you need a smooth surface. While the boosted mini can handle some cracks, tiny rocks and debris, streets have normally plenty of those, and even bike trails do to.Pros:1) fast! this thing is fast and obviously that's a good thing2) Sturdy. It seems very well built, however, I only owned it for a few days and the mechanisms seem fragile so I have reliability concerns but for now, the construction seems sturdy.3) The tail allows you for quick maneuvering.4) Regenerative braking is good and might give you a little more juice if you live in a hilly area. Conclusion:The main idea for these transportation devices is to cover the last mile for users. I get that and for a literal last mile solution, this board is great. The problem is that these boards have crazy range at 12-15 miles and you could, in theory, use them for such commutes, but I'd strongly advise you against it as it's going to take a toll on you and your body. The level of focus and attention is high and your 7+ miles commute won't be enjoyable. Maybe a long board would be better suited for such commutes but this board isn't it.UPDATE:I recently received a WOWGO 3.. I know, totally different board and style of riding but ohh boy! what a difference a deck can make! The WOWGO 3's deck is so flexible and the 90 mm wheels are great and give you such a smooth ride compared to the Boosted Mini X. It's apples and oranges, but for my long commute, the difference is day/night. Frankly I don't know what's the use case for a Boosted Mini X. Long commutes are painful, and it's not great for tricks, so I can only share my experience and hopefully provide perspective to whoever is considering buying this board, assess its situation and needs. More often than not, a longer board will make tons of sense.

After one week it works like a charm except for the belts
My first impressions were great. I had to wait nearly a month since corona backed everything up, yet it was beautiful when I got it out of the box. I got this knowing I would have nothing to do this summer, so I just got it. It’s very fun and pristine when it comes out of the box and you get that sense of aww. Grateful for me I do not have any problems with the battery or the remote and she worked fine. It really does reach that 20 mph I think and arranges also very generous. I was thinking I would just be riding this around for fun with my friends yet I found out I could get to work on it which is nearly 4 miles away and back without a single charge flooring it all the way. Yes be reminded that the full range will not be seen if you use it in the highest riding mode. After a week probably even less of owning it I only had one problem. On around day for one of the belt snapped and I looked at the other belt and it was also about to snap. I’m not sure what this is from since I cannot contact boosted for it yet I ordered spare belts so I would advise you to do the same. I hope this is not a common occurrence since I have been flooring it constantly and constantly Using it on horrible roads so I hope to see better performance. Also keep in mind the undercarriage especially with the motor and the belts are will get very worn out quickly especially when riding on Rocky bad roads like we have here in New York. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who has a short or last mile commute or anyone who is just looking for something fun to explore with.
