Perfect size pot
I had a 5 qt. non-stick calphalon and wanted to switch over to stainless steel. I was so happy to find this on Amazon. I use this pot all the time to make stew, pasta, sauce, meatballs, baby food plus much more. It cooks evenly on my stovetop and cleanup is a breeze even if there's stuck on food. All I do is run hot water into the pot with some dish detergent and let it sit for about an hour, sometimes less. Then I take a sponge and wash it down. Simple. I love this pot.

From pot to plate
Good to cook pasta in since it doesn't take as much time to boil the water as does a stock pot. Easier to store with two grips rather than a long single arm. Priced right and proforms great.

Cooks very nicely…
Arrived looking repackaged- like it had been opened once. Pan is nice looking & cooks very good & is easy to clean. This lid doesn’t sit flush with pan, but since steam needs to escape decided to keep anyway.

Stainless soup pot works great on induction cooktop!
Once I invested in an induction stove I had to replace most of my pots and pans. I often use a 5-6 qt. pot for soups, and this is the perfect size for most of my recipes. It is well-made with a glass lid. It was easy to clean (so far) and I've used it several times this month. Calfalon has been a good brand!

Great pot
I have an older Select pot that I've been so happy with it, I ordered a new one. It's the right size and always cleans up nice.
