This is a very cool accessory and a nice "Tuesday" present for my wife's new Macan GTS. The instructions are at the bottom of the box, so it wasn't immediately apparent to me how to install it. At first, I even thought I may have bought the wrong item. It then occurred to me that you had to take the key sides off to install it, and sure enough, when I found the instructions hidden under the foam at the bottom of the box, that turned out to be true. Installation was not too difficult, and I used a small blade pocket knife to encourage the factory side pieces to gently snap off. Then installing the new pieces was straightforward. You do have to watch the positioning of the factory rubber center piece with the buttons on it so that everything sits flush when you're done. That part took two tries, but no big deal. Overall, a great product that doesn't look cheap and adds some flair to a snazzy, expensive new car.

This is a very easy but big difference upgrade to your standard key. I used just a thin steak knife from the kitchen for gently prying, just be careful if you do! Common sense zone! Fit and finish is great! Still functions same as factory as well. I didn’t even need to take off my key chain. Couple of pointers, you will have to pop the rubber button holder out and they go back in after the center section. It’s okay if they get separated with disassembly. Be careful with the original chrome center section, by the light it’s very thin! Very easy to break it. The top sections all have tiny tabs that click in so when reassembling do the tops first.

The fob covers fit great BUT install of the top piece is a bit tricky. If you have a small gap at the front it is indeed not installed properly. You have to push the very front in at JUST the right angle and took me a few tries but you'll know right away when it's correct. Color match is nice and this is definitely a fun customization.

This may be an unfair review. I was seeking a Fob damage cover (like for iphones and other key fobs) to protect from drops to the ground, especially concrete. This product was shown in my word search, and nothing better was listed so I ordered one to investigate. This item turns out to be a vanity product that just converts the standard Porsche Black fob plastic body to another color (flat Burgundy). Examining the product, it offered no additional protection like after-market covers for my Honda Fobs. So as a vanity product, it is quite good, in my view, comparable to the quality of plastic from Porsche. It just wasn't what I was seeking.

looks nice but the center piece does not fit all the way on. I left the original middle piece and just put on sides.
