Works well but requires a bit of learning curve -- recommend in conjunction with wedge pillow.
This took a bit of trial and error to get to work well as a snoring reducer (not eliminator): 1) it takes (initially) a fair bit of adjusting until you learn how the strap fits around your head and doesn't produce uncomfortable pulling (especially around the ears or the jaw). Not too loose or too tight. 2) You also need to learn to align it well to avoid it pulling at the ears or have the back strap make a lump where you rest your head. 1&2 take some adjusting and this can be problematic at night -- the velcro is LOUD and will wake up your partner so you have to go to another room and shut the door. Best snore reduction is achieved in combination with a wedge pillow to raise head without kinking the neck. This one seems more durable than other models that do not have the stitching around the ear openings (but at the same time, that stitching can be uncomfortable). It is worth trying out other types too. You do need to put on the strap relatively snugly and as this is all elastic material probably need to replace it periodically. The thin swimsuit-like material I found not hot or uncomfortable unlike other straps made of neoprene, etc. It also dries quickly. Hand wash as the velcro gets stuck on everything. So far I am happy, I sleep more soundly and don't wake up with a dry mouth. My wife isn't wearing earplugs as often. Sometimes I will put it on not tight enough and then a little snoring will happen. However sometimes I find falling asleep with it on can be difficult because it does feel foreign. Maybe after a few more months that will go away.

Not worth it
This is hands down the most disappointing purchase I've ever made. The product completely failed to work as intended right out of the box. Absolutely not worth it.

It's complicated.
The good: it works and works well. Fairly comfortable. The bad: Every night I have to Google pictures of this thing to figure out how to put it on. I'm fairness, I also have the kind that is like a one-piece headband and manage to wear it backwards half of the time. The ugly: It's like Ikea teamed up with the makers of the Rubik's Cube. There are 44 possible ways to put this on my head and 43 of them pull some part of my face or head in an unnatural way or cause me to choke. I totally plan to retire this thing soon and replace it with the headband kind. But hey, don't let me scare you off, you might really like it.

Light, effective.
The first thing I noticed opening this was how thin and light it is, and that's a good thing. And it's dotted with lots of small holes for breathability. I bought this to replace a worn neoprene single strap that was thicker and slid all over my head at night. I like the design of this product and it works well, keeps my mouth shut and I sleep so well with it. I am very happy with this product. I write reviews once in a blue moon, and for one of two reasons - either if a product is really, really lousy, or if I had a great experience with it. In this case, it is the latter, and I highly recommend it. And follow the instructions. They say gradual tightening over consecutive nights will usually resolve any issues at first. I found that to be true. The only thing I don't like so much, and it's minor, is there's a rather thick seam on the top of the chin strap. It can be mildly uncomfortable. But adjusting its placement on the chin can rectify that. It's not enough for me to steer someone away from this product. It's only a minor drawback.

Experiment to Get the Most Comfortable Fit and it Works Great
After trying several different chin straps, this is my favorite model because it is adjustable with velcro at the top and back, and it has large ear holes. It slightly helps with snoring, but it definitely keeps my mouth closed for better sleep. The first few nights I had it strapped too tightly and it was uncomfortable. After loosening it a bit, it worked much better. It's best to tighten it only enough to keep the mouth lightly closed. There's no need to force the mouth to close hard. When removing in the morning, only undo the back straps and not the top, so it's easier to put back on the next night. It's worth it to keep adjusting until you get a comfortable fit that isn't too tight.

Meh!!
I don’t know if I had any issues myself with it if I used it wrong or not, but I literally use this product for one night and I did not enjoy it. I’m trying to not snore, but I’m also trying to not choke. Like I said there might be other underlying issues with myself, but this one did not do it for me. The quality of the product itself is no problem. Very good quality very high built. It just didn’t serve the purpose that I needed it for I was choking more than not snoring..

Best choice for sleep apnea
This chinstrap is so good. I don’t have to use the machine or the base piece anymore. I told my pulmonologist what I was doing and how it was working and he had me take a sleep test with the mask on. They called me the next day and told me I did not have sleep apnea. So like I said, this is the very best thing there is for those who cannot stand using the machine. I’ve ordered three of them. That way I can rotate them to wash them as I need to which I can do at the sink.

Unit Gave Me Jaw Pain
I had high hopes for this unit. I found it impacted my ability to sleep because not only does it hold your mouth shut, but it also forces your jaw backwards into a position which becomes painful. I tossed it after attempting to use two nights.

Uncomfortable
If you have facial hair, it becomes quite painful to wear a after a few hours. Additionally it doesn’t really help snoring
