Awesome and Dinted
This set is AWESOME! Like many others, one of my discs (black ranger ones I think) was the wrong print. My only negative is it arrived dented due to poor packaging.

I may not like Shout!'s actions here, but...
This show was made on tape. IT CANNOT BE REMASTERED WHATSOEVER! If Shout! Factory can pull a Discotek Media on this and release this on SD on BD, then we'll take less shelf space and it is way less expensive (due to less discs (being a little more than 50 half-hour episodes on one Blu-ray disc)) than what we see here, and they can keep the movie on a regular Blu-ray. Shout, you may need to take some notes the next time you release this series. For those who don't know who Discotek Media is, they are a rather small anime licensing company who specializes on releasing series mostly old and sometimes new, unlike Funimation and Sentai Filmworks. Their releases include most of the Lupin franchise (including The Castle of Cagliostro), Sonic X, 5 Centimeters per Second, and Kyousougiga. They also specialize on the SD on BD format, and according to a poll on social media, 80% suggest this format over DVD in terms of future releases on series that do NOT have an HD master made at all. This happened to the whole Fist of the North Star series (152 episodes on 3 Blu-ray discs), and you can compare the pricing of that release to the complete series DVD release if you like.

Ignore the other reviews
Look, most of the other reviews are just whining that this isn't a higher quality or that it can't be remastered because it was made the wrong way and such. Firstly, nowhere does the product say, remastered, or hd, or anything other than exactly what it is, which is, a limited edition steelbox case containing all of mmpr, some interviews, and the movie. That's all. So, I suggest buying it if you want it, and don't if you don't, but most if these reviews are pointless.

Seems nice, but too good to be true
Seems nice, but too good to be true. A couple things. One, $200?! Those discs better all be Blu-ray (hint: they’re not). Next...is this a Guarantee that we’ll get other seasons in Blu-ray/steelbook? Or at least Aliens, Zeo, Turbo, and In Space? This set will be far more worth it when all of that is changed/confirmed. As a collector, I would be upset paying $200 for mostly regular DVD’s, and getting Steelbooks for these, but for nothing else.

This release, same as the first.
If you already have the series on DVD, you are getting nothing new here, except a brand new never before released blu-ray disc of the original 1995 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers film, and some new packaging that looks pretty bland and amateurish. Unless you are die hard fan who missed out on any of the previous sets or are a die-hard fan of anything Mighty Morphin I would stay away from this. The three star rating is because the set itself has pretty much anything you could want out of MMPR, episodes, cool bonus features and the best picture quality (for DVD) the series has looked in 20 years, and unfortunately the same European masters that has missing dialogue in certain season 2 episodes "Welcome to Venus Island" for example is missing Jason's dialogue that was from Austin St. John's voice double and other re-purposed dialogue from season 1's "Doomsday Part 2" because the audio wasn't included in those masters sent overseas and was the only masters Shout had access. It's annoying and awkward to see the Red Ranger suit actor nodding and making other jerky head turns which normally would signal dialogue, but hearing nothing but the music. Now for those who were duped into believing this series was finally to receive its long overdue blu-ray debut sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unless shout wants to go into the SD in HD format, it ain't happening. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was made on the cheap and each master was produced on video tape, not film. As such, any attempt to remaster would need to include every shot made for the series, every piece of film that was then edited together with the sentai footage, which would also need to be located and imported from Japan. Since toei is very stingy on how their product is handled, giving it fort knox like protection, only gave MMPR Productions and Saban Entertainment videotape copies of all 50 episodes of each of the three sentai series that comprised the first 3 seasons of Power Rangers. There is no way Toei gives their master film elements to Saban or Shout to restore a throwaway children's program, and no way would Saban agree to spend millions of dollars to reconstruct the show for blu-ray, when CBS/Paramount couldn't profit off of Star Trek: the Next Generation when they utilized a similar process. Even if the license holders and IP owners decided to put forth a restoration process I doubt they could find the original elements to the series, they're probably lost. When the Walt Disney Company bought out Saban in 2001, much of the original props and costumes and "worthless" items used in the series went the way of the wood chipper. Disney didn't see any reason to keep this stuff in storage, and destroyed most of it. The original elements probably went out the same way. With that said, I can see why people would be disappointed
