I will first start my review by saying I do not put this all over my entire body so my review is regarding my legs only. The rest of my body tends to get tan, but for some reason my legs never do. Over the years I have tried so many different products, but have never been completely satisfied with the results until now. The following key factors for giving it such a high: Absolutely no orange after application; there is no smell with this product whereas many of the other products have a very distinct smell; The application is easy as long as you follow the directions and the tan does last 6-7 days. I have had no blotchy patches when I do a second application after three days; the results leave you with a very natural looking tan. And the cost of this tanner is a lot less han others and you get a large amount of product! For a great price! I am honestly so thankful that I found this product, and will continue using it! I watched many videos, online of people applying the tanner and picked up a few tips that might aid you in the application process: 1. Exfoliate first and then shave. Otherwise you can get agitation. 2. Definitely purchase the mitt for application because this tanner gets your hands dark quickly if you don’t use a mitt (5.00 mitt). 3. Apply the tanner in circular motions, rather than up-and-down up-and-down. This will give a more even application.. (I apply the tanner to one leg at a time starting with the bottom portion of my leg up to my thighs and then I go back to my feet.) 4. Although it says, do not put any lotion on prior to application.,I do apply lotion to my feet and toes and blend it upwards by my ankle & heal of my foot prior to application. This seems to prevent any blotchiness.. 5. After applying the product to the lower part of my leg and upper part of my leg, I then take the mitt off and I use a fluffy, make up brush, squirt, one pump of the product on the brush and apply it to my foot and ankle area with the brush. This was a great tip. I got from someone else’s video and has helped extremely with the application of the product on the foot.. With any south Tanner there is a bit of a process which you get used to and plan accordingly when you are going to be applying self tanner. I highly recommend this product and think you should give it a try.

Ok, here’s a real review from an expert tanner. I have tried drug store tanners to Sephora tanners to high-end tanners like Loving Tan. This stuff is gold! I think some of the bad reviews might be from people that don’t know what they are doing. First of all, NEVER WAIT JUST AN HOUR for any self tanner. I don’t care what the bottle says. I don’t care if it’s a $7 bottle or $100. You need to wait 8 hours for results. Beauty is pain people! Second, as a person who likes to be 10 shades darker I am VERY hard to please. I like to be very dark so most tanners do not cut it for me. I chronically do 2-3 applications for one tanning session. I wait for one application to dry for 5 minutes and then apply 1-2 more. Even then some self tanners do not cut it for me. Tan AF tanner is definitely a beautiful darker color. I was shocked that a $10-$14 bottle could achieve a fairly dark color. My one complaint is that it was 3 applications to achieve the results in the photo but I love the color. Third, people have complained about this coming off of sheets or the grey color (second photo). Omg. That’s just silly to me. The grey color gave me BEAUTIFUL dark color without a hint of orange. Tan AF nailed it in the color department. I’m not a golden tan. I’m a deep dark brownish tan. Incredible. I wore it all night. Very little depositing of color on sheets or clothes, which is awesome. They use very little bronzer in their solution. Two thumbs up from me. Fourth, it dries so quickly. I’ve had sooooo many self tanners be sticky as hell and annoying to have on for 8 hours. This stuff dries fast with no sticky residue feeling!!! Amen to that! And for the first time ever....there is virtually no scent. No other tanner has achieved that! Impressive. Fifth, the price is awesome. You can grab this at Walmart for $10. That’s amazing even if I apply 3 times. The bottle is a great size. Not too small but not on the large side either. I freaking love this stuff. Give it a try!! And, make sure that the week before application you are heavily moisturized, shower and exfoliate right before application, and wait the full 8 hours!!

I will never use another self tanner. This is by far the best. I am very fair and didn't want to put on 3 or 4 times, so thought I would try this. WOW! Nice glowy tan - just dark enough with one application in most places and doesn't look orange or fake! It's a nice natural warm tone. I really coudln't be happier. I usually end up with streaks or blotches. I was very careful and applied with a mitt. The price on this is great too. In my opinion, this is better than the high dollar sprays you can buy. Very impressed and a little went a long way.

I got the Very Dark version and it works really well. I'm very pale and pink; I never tan, just burn. One application made a noticeable, very natural-looking difference. It was easy to apply evenly and dried quickly -- no stickiness. Definitely need a couple more applications for full effect on my pale skin. BUT don't believe the reviews that say it doesn't smell like self-tanner or transfer to sheets/clothes. It has that weird same smell just like most other self-tanners and even after a week of daily showers, I still smell it on my skin. 4 stars because that smell grosses me out (other people might not be as sensitive about it, though). Plus, if you care about your sheets/clothes, be sure you wash it off before bed or dressing. The color absolutely transfers and will ruin sheets/clothes.

This self tanner is so easy to use! I love that it goes on a little darker so you can see exactly where you’re applying it—it makes blending super simple and streak-free. The color turns out really natural, and the whole process is quick. The smell isn’t bad like many others. Definitely one of the best self tanners I’ve used!

Purchased for the 1 hour power but will keep buying for the 4+ hour marinating brilliance. While the areas only kept on for about an hour had a nice tint to them - natural looking - the areas where I kept it on longer was amazing. While it was a darker than than I normally go for, the tan is still hanging on after almost a week. Yes, it is getting a bit blotchy but after shaving and showering 2x a day with minimal aftercare (lotion) I must say it looks okay. I used a mit and a brush to get a better application and good blending on hands, feet and face.

Definitely gives you a lot of color but it dries very fast and streaky. You better have a good way to blend this! It made me slightly orange too.

I don’t tan easily and would much rather use a self tanner instead. This one is so natural in color. I’ve used a lot of different brands and this one is the best by far!

This product has been my go-to for the entire summer. I have a light olive complexion and I don't spend too much time in the sun except for driving with the sunroof open and taking my kids out for a walk. I love the look of a good tan and I used to spend a lot of money (and time) at the tanning salon working up a base and then maintaining at least 2x a week but that's just not possible anymore. I started using this after purchasing Bali Body as my first self-tanning product. It was expensive and it worked well. HOWEVER - this product is a fraction of the price with NEXT-DAY-SHIPPING (HELLO!). When I use it I shower, shave and exfoliate my skin. I rub some lotion on my feet, elbows and knees and anywhere that I have dryer patches of skin. I use the b.tan mitt and spray on and start from my calves and work my way up. I only do my feet when the mitt is mostly dry and I do a light coat. I sometimes will allow the product to dry a few minutes and then add a second coat to my legs which are more fair than the rest of my body. I use this in the evening always. I'll stay in the washroom for 5-10 minutes or so, nude. Then throw on some loose clothing (long sleeve shirt and pants) and go to bed. Yes - I sleep with it. By the morning I have a quick rinse and the color is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! There may be some transfer onto the sheets but it is very, very minimal AND it washes right out in the washing machine - and I would know, because my sheets are white. The tan itself lasts about a week, give or take. I notice it starts to fade the quickest in my chest area where my bra sits and right between my breasts, also between my thighs where they may rub. The product doesn't leave a nasty smell. It doesn't stay sticky. I just went away on vacation and realized I didn't have enough of this so I went to get a spray tan - big mistake, it didn't last half as long AND the cost of the spray tan for one-use was more than the cost of this bottle which I tend to get about 5-6 uses out of and that's WITH sometimes a double-coat. Da anni che uso l'autoabbronzante ma questa marca in particolare da qualche mese. Devo dire che rispetto a tante altre marche questo è davvero buono. Ha un'ottima tonalità (NO arancione!!) e sulla pelle è molto piacevole quando lo tiene in posa. Assolutamente valido!
