Megasat 0600207 SAT to IP 3 Server

This product is totally awesome. Where i live i have almost zero transmitter coverage and my TV now sits much further away from where my Satellite cable comes into the living room. With this device I was able to solve both problems and serve TV across the house via Raspberry PI 3s and the excellent open source TVHeadEnd/OpenElec software. It is also well made and sits neatly next to my internet router. Well happy.

Fitted and install to replace a PC with a dual sat tuner. This is now feeding a tvheadend server with SAT>IP and delivering freesat to my entire house over IP

Very impressive piece of kit, it honestly works flawlessly. Using this to feed a Tvheadend server, now I can watch TV on any device in my house.

A bit hesitant to buy this as it had no reviews, Version 2 was reported to be buggy and needing resets from some people, and the Triax was a problem getting support for.But after having for a couple of weeks now as an additional input to my DVBLink server so I can have Freeview and FreeSat channels available it works perfect and runs cool to the touch, the web interface is basic and really no config is required but oddly there is no option to set a static IP (had to use a DHCP reservation instead).Handles 8 streams no probs at all, can also pass through the Ultra HD test channels currently on Astra 28.2E which is handy.Smaller than expected as well, it is also supplied with a euro plug in the box so pick up a UK adaptor as well.
