I bought this set after my 92 year old Pops took a spill coming back from a trip to the bathroom in the dark. They have skirts around the bed so there was no way to mount them there so I put one string under the dresser that faces the bed. The whole install took maybe 20 minutes. The motion sensor is really tiny so it's nice and discrete, but picks up motion quite well. The adjustable light level has good range and the three timer settings worked out well. The folks love it, getting to and from the bathroom is no longer a risky trip in the dark and it doesn't disturb the other person like a lamp would.I'd recommend them for anyone who needs a little light to navigate after dark.*EDIT* The folks have had this up for about a year now. and every time I call them (they live pretty far away) my pop's wife grabs the phone and thanks me for installing the lights, she says it literally changed her life as far as getting out of bed at night goes.Definitely a good solution for anyone, but fantastic for older folk for sure.

New bathroom remodel and I wanted to put a motion sensor light under the vanity because we stayed in a hotel that was recently remodeled, they had this feature in the bathroom and it was awesome. Now I did have them put an outlet down towards the ground near the vanity in anticipation of installing this lighting.This is 100% the way to go, using the LED adhesive string lighting. You want the light shining down onto the floor for a nice effect. Also, I believe the LED strip can be cut, the instructions did not say that though, I opted not to. I just ran it along the sides and front to use up any extra in length. Honestly, it was the perfect size for a 48 inch vanity.I liked that the motion sensor is separate from the lights. This allows you to get the motion sensor positioned pretty much anyway you need. In my case, it's so far under the vanity, I wanted it to hang down so it wasn't impeded path by the lip of the vanity around the edges. Once done, nothing is visible, just a nice warm hue of light.All the wires come with adhesive cable management devices, I pretty much used all of them so I didn't have to come back later and fix something later.The motion timer allows you to control brightness and set how long you want it to stay on for and that alone is fantastic. We have it on a low night time setting. We have it set to stay on for 30 seconds though we're considering moving it up to 90.I had other motion lights in my house that I tested and it wasn't long before I realized, this is absolutely the way to go. Love this product, now I'm looking for more places to put them.

I ordered a double set for one bed and a single for another bed. On all 3 sets of lights, the adhesive on the back peeled off with the paper rather than staying on the light strips. So, I had to use some double sided tape to mount the light strips. That happened on all 3. But once installed, they work great. Being able to adjust brightness and the amount of time they stay on is very helpful too. Certainly would have been 5 stars with better adhesive on the light strips, but that was just a minor annoyance.

I needed to light up under our bed when waking up at night.... I ordered this product for differenciated features for adjustable Timer & Dimmer, and ease of installation.Features provided adjustable settings (10%-100% dimmable brightness from soft to bright) and adjustable setting for how long the light stays on (30s, 130s, 380s optional).I received the package with proper installation instructions. It was easy to install and worked just fine.However, the first shipment that I received had one of the two sesors not working...I returned and quickly received the next shipment within couple of days with all working fine.It is a great product.

THESE ARE ACTUALLY MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. GREAT TO HAVE AND WORKS PERFECTLY. OPERATES AS A NIGHT LIGHT AS WELL IF ANYONE GETS OUT OF THE BED OR ENTERS A ROOM AT NIGHT. DESCREET AND VERY HANDY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I AM PUTTING THEM IN ALL OUR ROOMS UNDER THE BED FRAMES.

I got the dual set for each side, and one side does not work at all. The lights work fine, but the sensor on one side does nothing. So, through basic logic, I ruled out the power or the light strip, leaving only the sensor. The troubleshooting guide is nearly worthless. I will update if I hear back from the manufacturer.

My father wanted a non invasive low light option to have lights when he needs to get up in the night. These lights have worked perfectly to mount on the lower frame of his bed, and provide safe illumination for him to move around in the dark. Length was just right for his queen size bed. Easy to install on the frame, we used binder clips to clip to the frame, rather than sticky tape. The sensor picks up exactly when he puts his feet to the floor. We are extremely happy.
