Very accurate. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality at a reasonable price *by L***S on July 13, 2019* I prefer this type of wheel marking gauge to the other types I've tried. This one is nicely made, and I use it a lot for laying out joinery. It is easy to set and the setting locks reliably. There are two knurled knobs that lock the shaft. One locks the position of the gauge and the second locks the shaft to the micro-adjust mechanism. To use the micro-adjust, loosen the main locking knob and tighten the micro-adjust knob. There is some "play" in the thread for the micro-adjust mechanism, but there is a nylon set screw that you can adjust, so everything stays in place when you engage the micro-adjust, so it is possible to use the micro-adjust to nudge the setting a bit in either direction before locking the gauge setting. After you have the setting right, tighten the main locking knob. The gauge has some depth marking, but I don't find that useful. I'm usually setting the gauge based on the thickness of a workpiece or using a combination square.
