Exactly what I wanted, I had previously tried a blink doorbell but there was such a bad delay in triggering it would only ever capture people walking away. This is fantastic, It's responsive, great quality, the mounting wedge is great as it puts it at the perfect angle and means you can mount on the doorframe instead of the door, and it seems very well built. I went for the 2nd generation wired doorbell because i didn't want to bother with batteries. I live in the UK, so had to order it from America, and for setup I had to also purchase a siemens 4AC3214-0 to be able to meet the power requirements but was a very straightforward process to set up especially if you already have a doorbell that you can use the existing wires. Picture quality is great, zoom is great, price is on the expensive side especially when you factor in the transformer as well but as a result you get in my opinion the best there is at the moment. Especially with the features of nest aware like being able to differentiate between animals, people and saved people (IE "Sam is at the door" is pretty cool).
