If you like RPGs and want a different kind kf experience. Also beautiful set!
I got this while on sale. One of the best collectors/special editions out there. The journal is very nice quality and it feels more like a personal touch since it is the journal used in the game. The tank looks great and is a perfect size. If it were too big it would probably still be in the box because of space. But I keep next to me on my desk while I work. It's kind of e encouraging haha. The game itself is great. The story is around WWII but a story within a story, if that makes sense. The characters are instantly likeable, all with their own personalities. The gameplay is what I like the most. It's strategy but you get to view things on the actual battlefield with whoever you currently have control over. Set people up in the perfect spots so they can land gunfire and stuff the best. But be mindful where you decide to set your troops up; enemies takes turns moving as well. You could get ambushed.Graphics have an anime feel, which I always enjoy. The dialogues so far I have noticed no issues. Ever since Ys VIII I worry about these games now. Doesn't seem to suffer the same issues though.

Seriously huge box! Great bonuses and great game!
Wow! This box set is huge! About the size of the Switch console box! I won’t be going in-depth of the game itself but I will review this spoiler free.Overall the game is great! Lots of fun ways to battle and the storyline is decent, not the best but it is very entertaining. You can easily finish the game in under 30 hours but I recommend doing everything to enjoy all the game has to offer.Characters are fun and some silly, while a few are annoying. Again, not the best, but decent. Now on to the box set. It is gorgeous! Sets packaged the whole set in a way that’s both easy to remove the items and put back. The tank is the best part. Well made and a nice addition to your bookshelves or entertainment center. Everything else is OK, but not really amazing. For the cost this is a must buy! Even if you just want the cool box it comes in, or the tank, you will be pleased.

VC4: More of VC1 with Gameplay Improvements
Now that I've fully beaten VC4 I can give my honest opinion. Sega has definitely taken the player's feedback to heart with the not-so-good Valkyria Revolution and gone back to the roots which made the original VC game good. The art style is beautiful and the gameplay is a return to the strategic XCOM-like combat. All of the classes from the original game return but with small changes and improvements. The new class Grenadier is also a welcome change to combat troops and enemy armored units from a distance with mortar support. The first 10 hours of the game sorta feel like an extended tutorial but after that point the difficulty really ramps up and I found myself thinking hard to overcome the challenges with an A rank.As for the story, I was surprised how dark the plot turned at times. Yes, the original game had its share of war atrocities but this game really drove the narrative of how twisted both sides of a war can be. I won't give away anything more but give it a go and if you enjoyed the first game then you'll definitely like VC4.

A great limited edition!
Really happy with this. I bought it as a pre-order though so it’s really interesting to see that you can only get the switch version from third party sellers now.Everything of course comes included, the tank figure itself isn’t terribly big which some people may not like, but I personally think it’s a nice enough size. I’m really satisfied with this edition and I’m really enjoying the game. If you’ve played & enjoyed VC1, then you’ll definitely enjoy VC4.

Another good one
Valkyria chronicles is a 3rd person turn based strategy-shooter hybrid. You manually move units in the mission, aim for them, and do damage to enemies based on things like armor, distance, and headshot multiplier. The addition of the grenadier is a sword that cuts both ways. They are basically a mortar unit, able to lob rockets high up over obstacles. However, they can use intercepting fire during your turn in a very wide angle. The tank figure was cool.

A Good Special Edition
I’ll leave reviews of the game itself to the professionals, but I will comment on the special edition. The Hafen tank model is well detailed, looks great, and will work as a display piece on my shelf. The art book is VERY well done...high quality, great art, and a real standout. The controller skin for the Switch looks good and went on with ease.I enjoy the game, and the extras in this edition are worth the cost in my opinion.

Damaged items in sealed product on delivery
It is a great game! Always loved the Valkyria Chronicles Series. It is however a four star for me, the book that came with the box had some of its pages forcefully pushed, damaging them. In addition, the flag that came with the tank figure came unpainted. Its disappointing that the goodies didnt come with the quality I expected but doesn't take away from the game.

Great underrated Sega IP
I loved the original on the PS3 and though the PSP sequel was pretty good as well so when I heard about 4 I was really excited. The game is amazing hands down and playing it on the go with the switch was really cool. I do think the special edition was a little expensive for what was inside($40 for an artbook and a plastic model of the tank) which is reflected at the new discounted price.

Gran juego, Edicion especial razonable
