Granddaughter’s fish tank needed. New filters was overdue. Price is perfect. I will need to have more of these on hand. Eventually happy granddaughter leads to happy fish leads to happy grandparent definitely helps with the water clarity picks up all the Floaties and filters out all the crud very good price point is perfect.

Good Budget Option, But Not Quite Tetra Quality
These 9 Pack Carbon Filters compatible with Tetra Whisper EX filters are a decent option for the price, but they don’t quite match the quality of the original Tetra brand. They fit properly and do the job at a basic level, so if you’re looking to save some money, they’re usable. However, the filtration doesn’t seem quite as effective, and the overall build feels a bit lighter compared to the genuine Tetra filters. I noticed they may need to be changed a little more often to maintain the same water clarity and performance. Overall: Works in a pinch and saves money, but Tetra filters still perform better.
