what color bait is best for catching fish?

This is just my personal opinion but I use these baits based on the clarity of the water. In clearer water I use brighter colors and in stained or murky waters I use the lighter colors. I'm just a weekend angler but this has worked for me so must be doing something right...

Do you get the same amount of bait with this bag of fish n strips as with the other package that has 2 long strips?

The green strips that you have to cut was the better bait, I had more strikes with it over live mullet.

Has anyone tried these in Freshwater recently?

Not in freshwater, but saltwater & it does attract the fish. Caught a few with it.
