Perfect for Storing Blu-rays
A very good quality storage shelving unit that is perfect for blu-ray collections or DVDs. I was able to store my full collection of 300 plus blu-rays easily, with more placed on top shown in the included photo. The instructions were very user friendly with clear steps to follow, good diagrams and numbered pieces, so it was easy to follow. Thankfully there is no need to use glue, as it is just a matter of slotting the pieces together and tightening up each section. The completed unit is also very solid and has a great beachwood finish. For the price, the quality is outstanding. Highly recommended.

It holds plenty of CDs.
It was easy to assemble although plenty of floor space is needed. It can be built by one person. It looks nice against the wall but it is essential to fix to the wall securely using the provided ties.

Looks good and easy to assemble
Have had 24 boxes of CDs lying in the attic for the last 7 years because there was no room in the CD storage we already had. We decided that it would be ok to place them in the guest bedroom due to its 'look'. We were not disappointed. It was really easy to assemble and has taken all those boxes of CDs - in fact it literally was full when the last CD was put on its shelves.

DO NOT BUY, FOR DVDs!
When I ordered two of these units, the web page prominently claimed that they would hold 312 DVDs; and one of the photographs showed a section of the shelving as 20 cm high internally. The unit as a whole is 130.5 cm high. I constructed the units, placing the shelf supports for the variable shelves in the middle of the three available holes - and found I could not fit upright DVDs in all of the sections! The sections' actual heights are 21.3. 20.6, 19.7 (x 2), 18.5 and 17.9 cm. (A DVD case is 19 cm high; some of the shelf supports slightly reduced the number of DVDs further; 200 DVDs could be accommodated.) I was very disappointed - especially as the units are well-made, and arrived packaged well and with clear instructions. It took several exchanges with the vendor, with them initially requesting photographs, before they would accept that anything was wrong. I had to get them to confirm that all the sections were supposed to be 20 cm high, and confirm the thickness of the shelves, and provide some simple arithmetic to show that their figures were impossible, before they offered a refund! (I then had a lot of extra work, dismantling and repackaging the units; and there were several problems with the courier which the vendor used.) The vendor has not suggested that the units I received were different from their usual measurements or manufacture.

Deceptively spacious storage unit - perfect for DVDS (300+)
I needed a shelving unit with a slimline footprint to fit in our hallway to relocate all my OH's DVD collection into. I'd calculated that he had about 300 DVDs and this unit's description claims to hold 336 so I took a punt. Initially, I wanted a white unit but the "beech effect" was on special offer so I went with that. When my partner started taking the bits out of the box and started putting the unit together, I thought "All those DVDs are never going in there!" It looked so small! But... Looks can be deceptive!!! The way this storage unit has been designed really does utilise all the space within it to the full, meaning that it can be a lot smaller than the old style shelving units we all used to have. It fits neatly in our hallway and holds all my OH's DVDs and a few games with room to spare. Initially I was doubtful, now I really like it and the colour was right, after all. It blends nicely with our old laminate flooring quite nicely. Oh, and the quality of the MDF is really nice too... things have moved on a bit since the old days! Haha!

Functional but flimsy
I was looking for a large storage unit which could hold my retro game collection. The go-to option for storage is usually the Ikea Billy Bookcase, but that would have been way too deep for holding things like cassette tapes. This was a decent size, which based on my estimates would hold the entire collection and the adjustable shelf options mean it could be configured. It's quite expensive compared to the 'Billy' equivalents, but it was about the only alternative. I ordered it with Prime Next Day, and was frustrated that despite it showing as 'out for delivery', I was notified at 10pm that it would not be arriving - it arrived 3 days after it should have been delivered - you should consider that it is from a third-party supplier and not Amazon, and looking at supplier reviews this seems to be common issue. The unit arrived in 2 x boxes, which is good as it makes it easier to shift them around - it would have been large and heavy as a single item. The assembly instructions are good, and each part is numbered which makes it easy to follow along. The unit is really 2 x units which stack on top of each other, and here's where I have some grumbles. All that holds the 2 x units together are 2 x fixings on each side - normally, the rear panels you hammer on to such units add a bit of rigidity, but this case as there are 2 x rear panels all you are doing is adding rigidity to each part (the top and bottom portions which stack). There is no connection between the 2, with one simply sitting on top of the other - the fixings are not large or robust enough to give it any solidity. This means that the top can easily pitch forward or back from the bottom. When you assemble it, as there is a protruding base this means that it does not sit flat on the floor, and the weight can cause it to sag at the join - I recommend putting something under the mid point to take that weight when you hammer on the back panels, and be very careful lifting and moving it. For the price, it's not really good enough and I'd expect something more solid. Having said that, once in place it's fine, just be careful. Allow a lifetime to fit all the shelf supports - having so many individual shelves (each of the 3 columns can have shelves fitted in many different positions) is really good, although I do still puzzle at why the holes for the fixing points are in batches of 3, with a larger gap, then another 3 - why not just continue the holes all the way down to give even more choice. I ended up drilling some extra holes so I can maximise the options for shelves to suit. I've added a couple of metal brackets at the back where the units join to make it more secure, and am happy enough with it, but I do feel it's expensive for the build quality.
