Gemini Crafter's Companion Replacement A4 Clear Cutting Plate Accessory (2PK)

My only concern is the way the plates bend, but must remember to turn the plates around to reduce the damage.I saw on a craft show that if you put a clear plastic wallet in the cutting sandwich that also help stop the plates from scratching.

I purchased to new clear cutting plates after many years of using my original plates and have been very disappointed. The dies cut quite deeply into the sheet (top one) and warped despite me turning it after each use then last night it cracked! I couldn’t believe it. The bottom plate is perfect and undamaged....Have the manufacturers changed the material I winder or is it because I bought a pack of two as apposed to two separate ones? I have contacted the seller and await their response.

Replacement cutting plates for the Gemini... I’ve had my original ones with the machine for 2 years now and these are the first replacements I have bought. Yes they warp with use - just need to keep turning them and yes they mark but If you’re a card maker /crafter you will know this is what happens to all die cutting plates. I love this machine and frequently use it and the use of the marked slightly warped plates for how long they’re acceptable is entirely upto the individual. The only caution I would say is - I do find if you cut card to approx die size it’s better as if you use an A4 sheet with marked plates the markings can appear as a pattern on the rest of the uncut card!! As a dedicated crafter I use these plates almost every day.They are totally needed to do the card makng.They do wear out fairly quickly and bend if not turned regularly but this is because of the power of the excellent Gemini machine. I tend to keep one for cutting and one for embossing card stock

Bought an Electric Die Cutting machine from Gemini.Only used it about 6 tines. And it went the plates.Had I buy these as it don't work with our them.Manual Die Cutting machine plates last months.Amazon were the cheapest price.

First time using it it gets marked also after several uses the plate is bending.

Running this through Gemini crafters companion, plate is now useless after 6 passes, really disappointed at how badly scarred and disfigured these plates become so quickly. They bend within a few passes, despite rotating the plates.

This buckles and hold the imprint of dies from 1st use. Over time the imprint will transfer to card stock. Not fit for purpose and no suitable workaround suggested. Never again
