The retractable brush with a lid that is included in this 3 piece set is perfect for carrying in my purse safely, doing no damage to the brush, and being able to do touch-ups on the go. The other 2 pieces of the set is a longer brush with a reusable plastic cover to keep the bristles nice, and a black corduroy bag with a zippered top closure. All 3 pieces of the set are from Laura Geller.I use some Laura Geller makeup products, but these brushes can be used with any makeup you wear.The black corduroy bag has a very velvet-like feel. On the front of the bag is a gold color "Laura Geller" emblem. The top of the bag opens and closes gently with a gold color zipper. The top of the bag is 7" wide and the bottom of the bag is 9 1/2" wide. The top part of the bag is not as wide as the bottom of the bag. The base of the bag is a 2 1/2" box bottom, allowing the bag to stand on its own. The bag is fully lines with a nylon fabric. This is a well made, very nice bag.The makeup brushes arrived in a separate zip-style plastic bag than the plastic bag the corduroy bag is in.The larger of the brushes, the full face powder brush has a thicker reusable plastic cover to help keep the bristles of the brush in their best condition. The bristles of the brush are black with white tips. The bristles of the brush feel very soft. They almost feel like natural bristles. From the end of the handle to the tips of the bristles is 6 1/2".The retractable Kabuki brush is 4" long. The length doesn't change from when the brush bristles are in the metal cap, or out and ready to use. The circumference of the metal tube is 1 1/4". The bristles on the Kabuki brush are also very soft, just like the bristles on the larger brush.Both brushes provide a smooth and even coverage of both my powder foundation and my setting powder. They make blending of my makeup very nice and very easy to apply.For the price of $35.00, this 3 piece set is very nice and well worth the money.

These brushes are fine. I ordered them because I couldn't make the Laura Gellar foundation powder work like the ads and thought the brush they used in the ads might help, but it didn't. I can't fault the brushes for this as they seem nice enough. I do have a lot of high-quality makeup brushes, so I may be more critical than others. They are soft, and it is handy to be able to protect the kabuki brush with the lid. I don't find that the shape or bristles make for good foundation application. The other brush works fine for blush. I personally would skip these and go for Real Techniques for a better price *or* go for higher end; this mid-range brush set just isn't it for me.

Laura Geller brushes are the best. They are nicely made. They are nice and soft and do a great job in the application of makeup. The retractable brush is great for a couple of reasons. First off, it is always protected because it retracts into the base and has a cover so the brush never loses its shape. I also love the fact that you can push the brush all the way out for a light application of the powder foundation or if you want a bit more intense application, you can retract the brush so the bristles become more dense. The powder brush is great for applying blush and then giving a final blend of my total face makeup. I like that a heavy plastic shield that comes with the powder brush as it protects it and keeps the brush bristles in the original shape.The corduroy makeup bag is nicely made and looks very classy in black. It protects the brushes and there is enough room for the make up as well. The brushes and bag come at a reasonable price as makeup brushes are pricy. I will be saving this set for my travel set as I have another set for every day use. I love these brushes!

Such a great brush set! I really love Laura Geller’s makeup so these were such a great addition to my makeup collection. The quality is extremely nice and durable. I’ve had her brushes in the past and they last a long time.!

These brushes were great! They were super tough and made the make up go on so much smoother. They came in a great travel pack and they were super easy to haul wherever they were needed. These are great brushes and you need them!

The Laura Geller New York Makeup Bag and 2pc Blending Brush Set is very good quality. The bag is made of corduroy fabric that has a fine texture. Its zipper works smoothly and has a small golden charm with the initials LG on it that makes it even easier to unzip. It can hold a lot of makeup. Great that 2 brushes are included too.
