Really durable screen construction. It's 2.6 inches thick, so make sure your enclosure has enough space before ordering. The front is water-resistant only, but perfect for mounting in working environments where it might get splashed. I'm installing this inside a toolbox as part of my automated homebrewer setup. I was using a Raspberry Pi 7-inch screen before, and the touchscreen gave up for no reason. This is much more durable and robust. Waterproof front panel, all-aluminum case, and included mounting brackets for securing to the front of an enclosure from the inside. This produces a perfectly clean front installation with no visible hardware. The 4 VESA mounting holes on the back are M4 threaded. Raspberry Pi 4 standard image works perfectly with virtually no manual adjustments. Plug it in and the touchscreen and display are working immediately. Rotation works perfectly and the touchscreen adjusts correctly. You can adjust the scaling to make it more touch-friendly. If you want to scroll on web pages with touch like other tablets, there's an extension for Chromium to enable this function. Raspberry Pi recognizes this display as full 1080p and it looks really crisp. There are no power or input controls on the screen itself. Instead, a remote button controller is included and would need to be mounted or stored inside your enclosure. The monitor provides volume control and audio output, but no built-in speakers - pretty common for a computer monitor. Inputs are 1 HDMI, 1 DVI, 1 VGA, USB-A for touchscreen functionality, and 3.5mm audio output. It also works perfect for a Home Assistant dashboard screen. I tested a few of my dashboards and had no problem getting them to display. Home Assistant did a great job with this screen size and automatically adjusted the layout to make everything visible. Ultimately, this is a really robust and long-lasting screen perfect for permanent installations in a wall or enclosure. The aluminum housing and waterproof screen rating mean it should last a long time. The touchscreen is sensitive and responsive. Good option if you want to build your own home dashboard or touch control panel for smart home or robotics projects. The power connector is a 12v 4 amp 5.5x2.5mm dc connector if you want to source your own power requirements.

This is not the first time I buy their products.These GreenTouch displays are go-to for industrial HMI applications , it is plug and play , no special drivers required on Windows . It has all common monitor connectors , comes with a power supply , and HDMI cable , a vga cable and a usb cable for touch . Mounted screws , and a " remote" display control . The all-aluminum body makes the product look very sturdy. If you need an industrial-grade touch display, it is highly recommended
