Bliss
I purchased this Bivvy as I have joined my hubby and become an angler. Being disabled I need to use a proper height camping seat to sit on(cannot use low fishing seats)and this gives excellent headroom for proper chair. very easy to put up-takes seconds- purchased some proper bivvy pegs for main pegging of tent but use pegs provided to anchor guide ropes- although unless very windy I don't bother as proper bivvy pegs hold well in place-just make sure bivvy is taught and has proper shape when you peg it in- easily fits me (big girl) chair, side table, bait bags, and all day luggage with room to spare- just don't leave any item resting against material walls if raining as water will penetrate but wont if walls are clear, I have not waterproofed it but could do with tent waterproofer I expect- being in Cornwall- it rains quite a bit and I have yet to be defeated by the rain when using this, it has another use (especially if you are a woman) when fishing at lakes that dont have facilities it becomes my portaloo- absolute life saver lol. By the way you can fit 2 seats in side by side and still be comfortable, now in its second year of use and holding up very well- no problems at all with tent_ I love it- easy to take down as well, although its not going back into the bag it was intended to go bk into- tried twice gave up- I fold it and use guide ropes through the peg holes and tie it up- very easy to do and easy to carry, then just slide it into the bk of the car- will buy another one when this one has served its time- brilliant invention for day trips unfortunately not big enough for sleeping purposes but for money excellent- well done inventor!!!http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000SOA6D4/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title

Brolley for sun shade, pop up bivvy for shelter from rain/wind.
Bought April 2012.Without this Bivvy I would not have been wanting to fish half the time this year.It erects and puts away in seconds. Quicker than my brolley. I found a short video of it on YouTube.Has had much hard use this summer? Still in good order. Its more than tall enough for one to sit on a normal fishing chair with equipment and fish with ease.Keeps you dry and warm. Its not totally waterproof. Same as a brolley. You should use peggs all the time. Less you want the tent to follow the brollys at first gust of wind.In strong winds use at least two ropes else it bends over.I sat through a flash flood and storm winds with a small river at my feet but dry inside with flap down.A brolley would have blown away and others got wet. The rain was splashing upward.Keeps the cold winds from your back also.A few bad points. There is no hole at the rear, so no good for pole fisherman. The three velcro ties that hold up the flap are mal placed. The outer two are right on the end and the flap which falls through the loops.Do not trip over the lip/zip front. Easily done whilst close to waters edge. You need a garage to dry it out when wet after use.

Not fit for purpose.
Bought several months ago and has sat in my shed awaiting warmer weather. Upon first opening there's a pole broken and it's not possible to pop the tent up. Also totally unusable due to that. I wouldn't buy this product again.

Pop up bivvy
I am delighted with my purchase, I read the reviews and was a little worried about folding the shelter back down as everone seemed to have trouble with this part of the shelter. I read the instructions and studied the pictures when folding the shelter back down and found it worked quite easily and it went into its bag no problem. I also found it to be roomier than I expected and two of us fit in quite comfortably with our gear.I would recommend this shelter to anyone looking for a light, easy to put up an take down shelter for fishing.

which was quite easy after a couple of attempts
very quick to put up but instructions to take back down are incorrect, went on line to find correct procedure, which was quite easy after a couple of attempts. Not much good in anything other than a zephyr unless you want to be blown away.Ok when up but moves about a bit with the breeze.

POP UP TENT WOW!
best "pop up" I've seen Just brilliant and only seconds to erect and seconds to take down...... highly recommend this unit but do as I did and spray with water proofing and the rain just runs off.fantastic value for the money but If the manufacturer was to apply the water proofing and charge a little extra to cover the cost ...even better!Buy this ------------ you won't regret it.
