Bosch Serie 4 WTA79200GB 7kg Freestanding Vented Tumble Dryer - White [Energy Class C]

I had read some reviews here about clothes not drying and coming out damp but I'd had Bosch stuff before (just replaced a fifteen year old Bosch dishwasher) and so gave it the benefit of the doubt. It has worked perfectly on all the loads I have done, cottons and synthetics. It has a vent port out the back and the left hand side (looking at the front of the machine) which was prefect for where I put it. It comes with a flexible hose. The filter is easy to get to and easy to clean. It gives a loud beep when it finishes, and you can adjust the volume level of that. The display gives you an estimated time it will take, but it can change depending on how wet the clothes are, how big the load is etc. You can also tell it you want it to finish in X hours and it will wait and start so it finishes at that time so the clothes won't get creased sitting there for hours until you get home.Not much else I can say about a tumble dryer. I marked it down top only four stars for ease of use because the Start button is a touch sensitive part of the panel, not a physical button you push in, and sometimes you have to touch it a couple of times before it starts.Overall very happy with this machine.

Certainly works well and very fast drying

I have read the manual. I have adjusted the 'dryness' level, cleaned the 'moisture sensor', ensured I have not exceeded the maximum load, used various settings and still my washing is never properly dry. This means you then have to put it back on to the 'timed' warm program to finish drying. I could just put everything on using the 'timed' warm program but its maximum load for the setting is 3kg. Surely the setting of 'Cupboard Dry Plus' should actually dry it in the first place. I've had this machine since November and have tried all the settings and have an engineer coming tomorrow but my problem seems to be EXTREMELY common. Do not fall into the same expensive hole we are all in - AVOID THIS DRYER and save your money.

This is a rubbish dryer. I strongly advise you not to buy this. It has numerous sensor faults that don’t dry your clothes properly. Especially if you are only drying small loads or single items. It will only dry correctly on a full load and it takes forever. There has been forums with numerous complaints about this machine on the internet. Read them!!

Its a cheek to call this appliance a drier as it doesn't dry the clothes properly, need to constantly put back on the towel setting for everything as other settings finish after a short time indicating its dry when not, most of the time im re washing as the clothes smell damp so not cost effective at all. Worst buy ever, wish i could send it back. Engineer came out and tested sensors apparently thats as good as it gets, its just a really poor designed machine.
