Wow the quality of this is awesome. Amazing clicks and feedback from buttons and switches. Super easy for our toddler to use and enjoy some non screen entertainment. We love the make your own card where you can record your own messages/songs or anything you want on there. Our son’s grandpa lives far away and so he loves listening to the recordings his grandpa made for him. Thank you for an amazing product!

Got for 3 year old grand niece, and she & her daddy LOVE it! Used the "make your own" to put together a card with the app, with all her favorite songs! They want to limit screens, & this is a great way to do it! Dance & sing to songs without video mesmerizing them!!Not sure how it went over with my other 2 grand-nieces though - not sure if their parents got the concept/ tech savvy enough to make the cards. Also, restarts at beginning every time you pull it out, so get sick of first songs, ones at end don't hear so much!!! Wish it scrambled those up a bit...

I am so so so happy to have this Yoto mini-player. We used to own a toniebox and before we owned it i was so so excited (probably more than my kids were) to get one of these. I just loved the concept of having little characters (especially ones they were familiar with) to put on and play a few stories and unfortunately none of my kids ever really used it. My youngest son is autistic so i'm always looking for enrichment and entertaining toys he will play and continue to play with and learn with. So getting this Yoto player i knew it would be a little different and wasn't sure how he (or any of the kids) would respond to it but i tested it out first as it got here, set up the app and get everything famililar with it so i would know how to show it to the kids. I see pros and cons with this device. The small cons are the price of the cards seem to be a tad high, the free cards included with the membership are not anything the kids are truly familiar with and you'll need extra things like cardholder or sleeve to really get the most out of this yoto. Now for the pros. The subscription includes things that can be used to purchase actual cards. So basically for the largest monthly amount you're paying less than you would for two cards, redeeming two cards and getting the other entertainment thats included basically free.the blank cards (it techinally comes with two of them as the starter card can be written over as well) although i cant seem to figure out how to put more than one album or story or song on a card at one time straight from the app. When i transfer something to the card it erases the previous thing i had on there. I am sure there's a way to do so because it says i believe how long the audios can be. I love how I can sample the cards. Some are really great quality (like peppa, harry potter, song ones like Kidz Bop etc..) and some are just plain read cards (like spidey for example) without any character changes. The device is super cute and has the more simple yet pretty effective and accurate icons with each one. I love the radio, the sound effects, the way the player can be used and is easy to control. To the final test my kids, they seem to really love it as much too and in fact can't seem to agree on what to listen to at the same time!! Its wonderful!

We love this Yoto Mini!! The Yoto is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and is a perfect size for on-the-go screen-free entertainment for your little ones. The instructions are crystal clear, setup is a cinch and customer service is on point. I had to contact customer service because 2 of the cards in the starter pack were not saving to the digital library but we learned that the card must first be put into the player in order for the card to be able to be saved on our online account. Don't know if I am explaining it correctly but it made sense.The player itself is pretty easy to use and my 4-year-old has picked it up quickly. It's got minimal buttons and functions and that really helps. Surprisingly, the volume on this can actually get kind of loud. The little digital icon that shows when a card is in the player is super cute and the stories are engaging. The app has a lot of short clips and freebies you can download FOR FREE into your personal Yoto library. You can then select material for your kids to listen to via the app that is installed on your phone so a card isn't even needed for most functions.We are excited to expand our selection of cards, get a protective sleeve for the player, a carrying case for the cards, and some headphones to make our kit complete. I can see this is going to be a favorite on road trips as well as at bed time. For $69.99 and the amount of utility you get out of the little thing, I think it is well worth the price. Recommend!
