Easy to carry around, and play chess and drafts with a lady I ran out regularly for her mental health.

You get what you pay for
Well it was cheap. And it is usable. The cheapness shines through in the finish and quality. The chess pieces are rough and unfinshed with little chips missing here and there. The Draughts/Backgammon pieces are ridiculously small and slide over the board surface if you aren't careful.All the pieces are bagged up in the inside of the box, there's no compartments or slots for pieces individually, which is fine. However no real care was taken to flatten the bags of pieces out when packing them which has caused them to dent the lid in places.It's good enough for the job. It's perfectly useable but I suspect a cheap plastic set would be better quality than this.

Good set
Great compact chess/backgammon board for the price. Opens out to a decent size, not a little fiddly board. Sturdy. Only thing is mention is the pieces while recognisable aren't really polished in their finish and they don't have any pads underneath them. It's not a problem for us as we like it just the same and it doesn't take away anything from the game.

Very poor quality
I bought this set as my 5 year old wanted to learn and I thought a basic wooden set would be a nice way to start. It arrived today. The squares of the board are a sticker stuck onto the box and the squares don't line up in the middle. The quality of the chess pieces is SHOCKING!!! There are slices of some pieces missing, jagged edges and one of the pawns even has a head missing. Very disappointed in this set. Don't waste your time or money.

Fantastic quality and great price
I've already played each game lots of times, and with 3 to choose from I never get bored. I love that it folds up in half and acts as a carry case.
